I've just posted this to Blo and putting it here for your opinions.  Cheers.

    Hello Blo,

I'm wondering if it's possible to do a couple of small tweaks on the site.

On the country club home page, is it possible to use up more of the space below 'Members Activity' and show more post notices?  I find that in our club they go off the page very quickly, even more so when the forum is busy with members posts and a lot of posts are missed.  I think there's room for a few more.

Also, when I'm looking for WGT members without a club to try and recruit them, I check the members online page.  While it has a lot of info on the page about the members, I feel it would save us owners a lot of time if the CC icon was included. Then we could see at a glance who is or isn't  a club member and  we can follow up on that.

I know it has the CC info in the leaderboard/results lists, but the results are not the most recent and some players have big gaps in their activity. If the CC icon was in the 'members online' list, it would tell us who's not in a club,  and who is currently playing.  Two small changes, but would be two big time savers for this club owner, and I'm sure, others.

Would this be a big decision for the WGT chiefs to make these changes,  and is it possible?

    Thanks for your time.   Dubfore.

See the "View all" text on top right? Use it!

To me, "Find Players" is meant to find a game, not for recruiting. That line is too crowded for the CC's names. Out of curiosity, is blind recruiting really successful? I think of other ways to convince new members...

And, don't expect too much support as a CC owner - most recent changes have been fragmentary promises only (directors, bank) or exclusively to the company's advantage (CC XP&level system, CC passes, clashes).

Things not going your way in Serenity MrUNdone?

MrUNdone is still sore cos he was caught cheating on his handicap, won thousands of credits and the greedy pig wouldn't even give something back and sponsor a tournament.

I'm glad to say we don't have any saddos in our great club, we got rid of a few, and MrUNdone, you're the saddest!

Thanks for exposing yourself again.  :-)

    Everybody Knows ~ Leonard Cohen

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Lin-a2lTelg

A quote taken from YouTube, an opinion what this song is about:

+Ethan Beck People lie, to others and to themselves. And the lies are often for themselves since 'everybody knows'. But even though most folks know this, they accept the lies or are powerless to do anything about them. That, too, 'everybody knows'.

    Mrindone,

As a fellow Yank, it's embarrassing to watch your behavior.  You truly are "The Ugly American" of yesteryear.  I'm sure you're a graduate of the Gordon Gekko School of Ethics.

A barking dog usually wants attention.  Same goes for a child's tantrum.  Such is the nature of your behavior.  Or perhaps your attendant is late with you medicine?

I'm going to just let you rave on in the future, as "everybody knows" just what you are.  Your conduct and comments here have removed all doubt.

Dubfore, we've been having a battle of wits with an unarmed man.  This person is more like dead yeast in beer:  Unappetizing, Unsightly, but harmless.  Freud had a word for people like this.  He called the "Cuckoo's."  Enough said.

    Oh, by the way,

    Have a nice day.

phred952- you know not what you speak to. You shouldn't just jump in to something you have no knowledge about. I understand your first reaction is to defend your club mate, but you have  NO idea the things he has said and accused people of ,which included myself. Do some research and a little digging in the forums and you will find the real truth. You will see this stuff started WAY before me. He isn't the sweet innocent FAIR guy he has portrayed to you himself to be. Once you improve your game to a higher level , you too will become a cheater according to him. Now  I ask you phred , be fair yourself , and look at the facts and then  make your judgement. If you knew all the facts you would quit his club asap. And I hope you have a nice day also.

    M.
