All the upper level putters are good. I personally think one is as good as the other. It all depends on what you are use to . I have used the nike putters since lvl51 and love them. IMHO, a person should get a certain brand of putter and stick with it and upgrade when they come available. Have not tried the lvl 101 nike but others who have say there is not much difference.

This would seem to be so. I'm pretty stuck with the Versa family. I've never had any gift for putting, and when I try out other brands and scales I become worse. In the case of Mags and his L-94, I don't know if it should have much sway with most players. He and a precious few others have a special talent for putting art that is uncommon.

Actually, Mags is very modest about his putting.

In the case of Mags and his L-94,

The Nike scale version is a bug riddled piece of crap that's why.  I would think he would check it out again when they fix it (speaking for him without checking understand, LOL).

At the end of the day no revelation is going to exist with one step up.  IMO the M1 has better balance, and you would notice that more if putting 100+ scale foot deep.  IMO it also has a tad more forgiveness on straight putts with the 15 scale.

If you are happy to use shallow scales as default (100 being usual absolute max), and have an OK ADP and can putt a bit  it all adds up to a potential difference of about 1 putt every 15 x18 hole rounds, but it is a nice new toy:)

And all very much JMNSHO :)

Thanks Jim. I will try it when a free weekend comes around again. Yes, Sweetie Mag is extremely good with putting.

For me, the new Nike putter M1,  has shown to be a great upgrade in the very little time I've used it.

    BUT

That's upgrading from the Max and Rossa putter.  Had I kept the L96 Versa, I may have not noticed the added benefits as much.  I just got way too lazy with the putting and the Max and Rossa were keeping me lazy.  I wasn't spending enough time reading putts and hoping that missing the ding against break would help...... wasn't the best train of thought for wanting to make putts.

Now, with the added benefits of the new L101 Nike,  I actually slow down and take the time to study my putts.  The added precision and balance can only help show how far off I was on my reads.  In time, I can only hope that I learn how to read my putts better based on that.

Putting used to be my favorite part of the game both here and real golf.  Maybe this will help restore some enjoyment in the game for me.  Heck, it may even help my real life putting since I started getting real lazy on the real putting greens too.
