This is really an interesting discovery. By the looks of it they started shooting the hole around 5:00 and it took at least 45 minutes (so far.)  :-)

    TWOMINUSONE:

Here be another 1 for you Yancy. Hope this picture comes out, as im not used to putting them up on here.

    Excellent.

All the posts have been of the most informables, verifying something is going on with the clock and whatnot. What and who will be determined after much tedious researchins and analyzeation.

    Im on this. Mostly.

    Sincerely, Yancy

Well, common people, I hate to spoil the party, but of course it is ALWAYS a different time.  I mean, when you play a real game of golf, do you always walk up to the 18th green at 5:08, or 4:35, or 5:47, or... never mind, my point is the time is always different.

I wish I could have responded positively to this post, but alas, I am so focused on my ball, the green, the valley of sin, my putting line, the meter, etc, etc, that I haven't even noticed the clock.  But now that I know, I shall be on the lookout.  I just hope that it doesn't mean multiple bogeys, or that the clock doesn't show it took me 20 minutes or more to putt out!

A thought has just occured to me, could be more proof of the paranormal.  Imagine this... I reach the green at 5:45 (as in TWOMINUSONE's post).  Then, I putt out at 5:07 as in Yancy's opening post.  Now that would be wierd!  And proof that something is going on.

    Keep searching Yancy, but beware.

Once again YJ is all up on top of this.Might be a point to ponder while trying to explain, the hard work & dedication put in by those to produce this game. A mere 45+ minutes to try & get us every possible shot/view for one green.

Just thought I'd throw out huge props and ^5's to all involved, from the creator to the hack. Thank you, for not only this game but the opportunity for solid friendships along the way.

The clock is forty foot high and just behind the 18th hole so what kind of club would you play .

I have to own up, I HAVE taken a 3-wood to the ball (a driver dunny work!) on the 18th green... and aimed it straight at the clubhouse.  AND THE BALL DUNNY EVEN REACH THE WHITE FENCE!!!  Now I'd say I'm pretty powerful (have won many long drives prizes in real golf) but that fence cannot be even 100yds away.

Obviously WGT haven't photographed broken windows, broken hands on the clockface, or the likes.  But that's nothing a little Photoshop or PaintShopPro couldn't fix.

    Enter Andyson...

Mio, I must decline to photoshop damage to the lovely old buildings of St. Andrews.  Even in jest.  Especially to the landmark R&A, which is a fine organization and is a WGT partner.

Well played and well said. With virtually no authority vested in me, I dub thee Saint Andyson, guardian of the St. Andrews landmark R&A.
