Flash is not the only issue that affects flash. Any tasks that take processor time away from the processing of the swing meter can affect it, and yes, many of these are due to wgt and their 'partners'. It's an easy out to blame it all on the users computer in each and every case.

If spyware were added to each and every computer that visited comegetspyware.com, would that, too, be on the users end?

How is it WGT's fault when YOUR PC downloaded ADOBE?????

HMMMMMMM???? whats the common factor their?

    Stencil

the common factor is that WGT is using a faulty system, everybody has meter stutter to some extent, some more than others.  but when i use google chrome, as i do now, do the required cleaning, it's somewhat ok,

i have played numerous golf games on the internet, some w/download, some without and have never had a faulty meter on any of them, if i hit a bad shot, i hit a bad shot, but the meter would'nt freeze just before getting to the light blue, causing LOST BALLS, which are a profit center for WGT, there is really no incentive for WGT to improve the playability of their site as long as we continue to purchase balls, THEY'RE HAPPY.  even if we're not.

To say WGT wants to have the bad meter is um... completely idiotic.

And i have basically no meter issues save 1 or 2 times a round. So its not everyone it's just the ones that are on the forum had a bad meter. No one is gonna come on the forum and say "I had a great meter today" but they will say "my meter sucked i lost 3 balls". Therefore, giving you the impression that everyone has meter issues.

Kinda contradicting yourself there. The people that are having meter stutters and general meter issues seem to vastly outnumber the people who claim that they don't suffer with them at all. I have issues with it too. I keep my history clear and clear my cache, but it still happens. I have a high end P.C. with a good graphics card and all drivers up to date so it cannot be a hardware issue. I do a lot of gaming and have some games that are pretty demanding when it comes to minimum specs and I never have any issues. I also have a very fast internet connection so that is not the problem. That only leaves the preverbial ball in one of two peoples court. WGT and Adobe. I am not clued in enough to be able to narrow it down to one definate culprit, but the fact that WGT refuse to get drawn in on this issue and when they do, they blame the users P.C., tells me that they are the guilty party.

If it was an issue with Flash, they would be saying that the situation was outta their hands and generally defending themselves. Any normal person would. It suits WGT to have people losing balls all over the place, because it makes money for them. It has been noted very recently that the balls are not lasting as long as they used to. This is since the last update. They thought they would try to sneak that one past us. Its all about the money.

I have spent quite a bit of money on this game and I think that gives me the right to complain about a substandard delivery. If you don't get good service in a restaurant or shop you complain. Why not here.

The lack of a proper responce from WGT is unacceptable.

This is starting to be a huge problem. Iv'e noticed the problem is getting worse as time goes by. Not quite sure when the meter spikes/skips/missing beats started to happen, but when I saw the meter skipping, I would leave it and take a practice swing. Now it's happening just about every shot and getting really hard to see, which is telling me there is really something wrong somewhere... I have a very powerful puter, using a very fast internet conection, if anybody is wondering...lol.

There is one thing I have noticed though... since I dowloaded the lastest 'Flash Player Upgrade' the meter issue with me got worse (which was a couple of weeks ago).

Just thinking, could it be a problem with the Flash Player in conjuction with this Game, and maybe 'WGT' might have to tweek a couple of things on their end?.. don't know.

I know that when 'Facebook' did thier big changes alot of the Apps that everybody was using didn't work until the Apps changed to the new 'Facebook'  formats.

    Just a thought :)

I have a program called Webroot Window Washer on my pc, if I notice the meter starting to do funny things (which is rare for me) I simply run the Window Washer and all is smoothed out. I only get about 1-2 meter probs per about 4-5 games. If all the complainers feel so strongly about it go and find a better online golf game that is your choice.

No! Most of the one that don't have an meter issues don't say anything in the forums! The one that habitually complain about a bad meter WILL NOT listen to the few of us who don't have a bad meter when we tell them what to do to have a good meter. All they want to do is bash WGT. When in fact it is something in their own PC setup that is causing their trouble.I have very few if any meter problems. Why? For 1 thong I run a very clean machine. I defrag the drive that the browser that I play WGT with once a week. I also run Game booster 2 which helps a lot And I also play with flash quality set to low,if for no other reason that the ding bar is slightly larger at the lowest setting If the majority of the whiners would spend as much time analyzing their PC as they do at bashing WGT they would find their problem and have a much better game experience.

I run a pretty clean machine also. I may not defrag my machine once a week but I only install the game I'm currently playing. I will run a defrag about once a month though.

Haven't heard of this but will give it a try. I take it its a free program on the net.

I spend plenty of time analysing my P.C. I have gotten into the habit of turning off all background programs and as I said already, my machine is more than capable of playing any high demanding game. so why should this game be any different.

I appreciate you posting your tips for improving game play. If game booster is the cure, you will hear no more from me on the topic.

Game booster is the cure but for me not the cure to my peak-time stutters. Fortunately on a normal night I will log off before peak-time so my meter is silky smooth during all games :) Call me what you like but to me it seems like an endless circle. The problems from the flash or whatever cause the stutters so people post complaints, slowing down WGT. When that happens, there are even more stutters so even more complaints are posted and so on. It's my opinion on it and if you disagree there's no point in going all CAPITAL LETTER-Y. YOU KNOW HOW ANNOYING IT IS WHEN PEOPLE SHOUT AT YOU JUST FOR EXPRESSING THEIR OPINION!

P.S. That last bit was just showing how annoying it is.
