  • New Game Sounds – Keep your ears open for new game sounds in stroke play games, giving you feedback like cheering you on, providing some applause or maybe even some taunting to keep you sharp! Note, you can always choose to turn these sounds on or off in your Game Settings under “Celebrations.”

  Wouldn't be so bad if the comments corresponded to the stroke....

  Got a "Solid Shot" on 17th St A's which, hit the ridge of the green and rolled into rough behind bunker leaving me struggling for par !!

  Solid my A.ss..now if it had said "WTF was THAT", at least that would be truthful...a hard concept for WGT to grasp I understand.

  Since update my whole system froze solid twice while playing the game. May be a fault at my send,thought i would mention it in case this happens to to others.I couldn't even move the mouse or get up task manager.

  Yep,  I have to agree, Andy,  the disparaging comments would be far funnier.

  More along the lines of   " You couldn't hit a cows backside with a banjo ! ",  " The object of the game is to hit the ball in the hole ", "You should have chosen Jacques Cousteau as your Alt shot partner"

  I am usually a critic and I have one big one here. But before that I would like to at least give kudos to WGT for a smooth release with no issues that seem to be popping up.

  Now as for what is in the release....

  There are so many really good enhancements to the game that could be made, like being able to break up the iron set.  I'd love to carry the 225 hybrid instead of the 3 iron and the 115 yard Cleveland wedge in lieu of the 120 yard pitching wedge.  But even though this is on the WGT list for future updates, it never gets done.

  Instead we get some lame voice announcing things like "On the dance floor !!", "That's in the garden spot !!", "Solid putt !", etc.  I'm not leaving that sound on long enough to find out what the rest of the comments are.

  To me, that's not even worth the work the programmers put into it.  Spend time and money doing stuff that will make the game more fun.

  Alan, I believe these atributes are always meant "in comparison to starter gear", so every item that comes out gets the "more of everything" description.

  3-Click Swing Meter – Fixed a display issue where the power bar didn’t draw back on the first click for players using the 3-Click Swing Meter

  It's taken me 3 years to get used to the 2-click meter.  Is there a way to default back to it?

  Good move - got rid of the v annoying camera click on every shot.

  Bad move - replacing it with something even worse. Don't need faked 'you the man' or any other inane comments.

  So, I will assume players getting booted from various multi-player games didn't get fixed? Good job!!!

  Can we have another option to turn off these retarded comments but leave the olddapplause for birdie/eagles etc on.Maybe a few people like them but realy dont find it very appealing to have someone biggin me up every other shot..very annoying.
