After playing for sometime now, I keep wondering why the 60y wedge mostly gets the high altitude long distance view in reverse mode ? That's on iPad

Sometimes you can't even get a view from behind the flag.

That's a bit strange considering it's a small distance and precision club to get a view you can't use for precision.

Then, I noticed that using pitch for long irons unlocked the man height, behind the flag view almost all the time. When in that view, you can change back to the cleve and make your fine adjustments... And most of the time you can land less than 2 yards from the flag.

Same goes for shot animation, most of the time you lose the beauty of the trajectory to bad camera choice and wrong switch time... And you can't even change the camera like on pc.

On many chip ins- if not all- I get  the hawk-eye view for the last centimeters, from 30m altitude or more. Worst idea ever and I do not think that angle has ever been seen on tv for those beautiful shots...

Thanks for reading and I hope WGT can fix the cleveland camera choices on iPad (and probably all mobile devices)

Can someone from WGT have a look at this please ?

It's a real bother to be so far away from the ball in reverse view when playing a 15yards or less shot. It's ridiculous even.

Hey David, Do you have any screenshots that you can send of the issue?

Most of the time when the game gives you a poor viewing angle it has to do with the ball placement being on the edge of where we would use one camera versus a different camera. It shouldn't have anything to do with your wedges. We have also changed some of the camera angles in the latest update which may have caused some irregularities.

    That's a joke right?

The problem has been there for a long time, I can't remember if it worked well before to be honest.

I made a photo sequence showing I can't get a good view unless I choose a pitch with a high iron and then choose the cleve again:

David, this is part of the change in the cameras in the new update. Now when you change the cameras the game keeps your avatar in the view (even if he is transparent or hidden under some trees). If it showed you the normal reverse view from the ground, your avatar would no longer be in view.

It is not an issue with your wedges, or your game, it's just part of the updates.

Then why is it I get the right view after using the pitch 3i reverse cam view ?

And I'm sorry but the avatar is in the view in pic 4 and 5...

Last picture is the view I want with the cleveland. But as you see in pic 1 2 and 3, it's not there.

Then in pic 4 I have to choose a pitch shot with a 3i, giving me the right view. I can then choose the cleveland, without changing view, and I can start adjusting my shot like in pic 5.

Since the moderation filter creates a huge lag, killing a discussion's dynamics, did you get my last answer ?

Because it feels like I wasn't able to express what I meant correctly the first time.

    Thanks.

David, it is not the club, it's the shot type. When you have "Full" you do not get the camera behind the flag. Just the shot to pitch or chip, aim, change back to full and shot.

I understood that it works that way. But only if the pitch distance for the club you choose is greater than the distance to the hole.

But it's not very practical, because except in very windy conditions, the flag view is the best for the 60yards.

What's even worse with standard views is that you're not even aligned with the hole, the view often is at an angle that makes it even more difficult to adjust your shot

So in a h2h I lose about 10 to 15 seconds just to get the flag view. But at least I'm in a view that should be the one by default...
