I understood that it works that way. But only if the pitch distance for the club you choose is greater than the distance to the hole.

Yes, there are some situations when you can not get that view, that is true. Still, your topic is titled "Cleveland wedges reverse camera distance problem" so my point that "it's not the club" is still valid :)  It's the distance. Of course, the problem is normally experienced with wedges

That said, I'd love to be able to get the "behind the pin" view with all clubs, at any distance. It is not easy to plan a 180 yards approach shot when you have no idea how the green looks like around the hole.

I too have been struggling with getting a view I feel comfortable with when hitting into greens with cleveland wedges. I will try switching to a different shot type and club, but regardless, I feel as though sometime the camera angles are not sufficient.

    Ok let's split hairs...

You might be right the problem isn't only a Cleveland one. Though I feel like it happened only on higher level ones. I do not remember having the problem with lower level ones. Or it might be that as my game got more precise, I started to feel bothered by the poor choice in views...

Just use the 3i pitch. Then alternate the views, sometimes twice as the game doesn't refresh the view everytime. Then when you get the pin view, switch to the cleveland.

If the distance to the hole is within the clubs range for a pitch, then you get the view you want. If you don't get the "behind" camera, just select a bigger club, aim, switch back. It has nothing to do with the brand of the club.  Same if you get the dots that only show elevation - switch to a longer club to see the break.

That's what I do, but it takes around 10s to do so, sometimes more. Not very practical in a head to head match for example.

    Thanks
