I have 2 questions about courses:

How can some courses have the same HANDICAP like 1 on 9-front holes and HANDICAP 1 on back 9  ? ??

Why isn't it possible to play 18 holes stroke play on following courses:

CELTIC MANOR - EDGEWOOD -PINEHURST -WOLF CREEK - BALI HAY

Maybe some cone can explain to a newcomer. Thanks

These courses are "Closest to the hole courses" (aka CTTH).  This means you play one shot from a pre-determined tee and see how close you get to the hole.  There are factors, if you don't hit the green you get pentalty distances added to your score.  WGT has anounced that CTTH courses will not become full stroke play courses.  Why you ask?  Sorry, I don't have the answer.  Hope this helps

While those CCTH courses are quite beautiful for the most part they are not the in the same league as the 4 stroke play courses we have and of the new one coming soon. I do agree that Celtic Manor would make a great addition to the stroke play courses. And a ot of people don't realize just how much time and money it takes to make a full stroke play course. It is not the same as creating a course using CAD or some other graphics engine. All our courses both CTTH and full stroke play are all High definition photographs. And from what I understand they run into the $1000's. When I joined a little over a year ago there were only 2 stroke play courses they have added 2 in less than a year so just be patient they will come.

No new interesting game play??? The New Alternate shot format in certainly new and interesting, If you haven't tried it I strongly suggest you try it. You just might love it. I do.

Have you tried the Pebble Beach Experience? It's been available for a good while.

Sure you have to use Starter Clubs and Balls but you can play the same hole over and over as many times as you want.

I am still baffled as to why WGT went to all the trouble to take all the photos to make 18 hole CTTH of Pebble and then didn't bring into the site. Strange to say the least.

Since Augusta National made an agreement with EA Sports to be on TW 2012... don't you think they would let WGT in?
