I have played the game long enough with my fair share of rr's to know the putting standards have changed dramatically

    I agree with that

people would love to share secrets and discuss stuff but getting shot down trying to help out - nobody will volunteer any information this way.

ignore the post if anyone thinks its invalid - why bother comin in and saying stuff like come back when uve learnt to putt coach?

RickRR - look on Ibbies profile for some great tips (in my opinion) on putting and wedge play and others.

plenty of styles of putting but in the end its up to wgt whether it goes in the hole or not.

some days I find personally I can putt what I think is perfect and it doesn't go in, other days I don't even have to line them up and they go in.

    it is what it is.

    Tekoma tips http://www.wgt.com/forums/t/226749.aspx

JC Snead.  Now imo, JC actual technique, or the way he determines dot flow and aim point is pretty brilliant.  I'll say this though, quite a lot of what he wrote in his initial presentation concerning witchcraft, off ding putting (great for huge breaks), and using pitch view it very very far off.

So don't let the initial presentation throw you off.  The meat and potatoes of it all has some nice use imho.  His link is here http://www.wgt.com/forums/t/270430.aspx

For shorter putts, like 2-8F I will always use Pitch view.  When regular view and pitch view have different breaks go with pitch view.  It's right 95% of time.  Additionally, for those short putts I like to count breaks in what I determine to be 1/2 hole intervals.  If there is excessive break to do so then I still count in 1/2 hole intervals but then I use JC flow % (that's what I call it) to finalize the break.

    Good luck and Cheers!  Sean.

I can not locate "Ibbies" as a WGT player, search comes back with nothing. Does he/she have another name?
