Well, we managed to scrape through against Wales last night...but did anyone watch the New Zealand/France game?

It was the most brutal display of rugby skill I've ever seen. I'm surprised there wasn't a row of ambulances waiting for most of the French players after the game.

And we get to play them in the semi's....

Today it's Ireland against Argentina (hope Ireland wins) followed by Australia against Scotland (can't see Scotland outgunning the Wallabies but we can hope)

And then there was one...................... c'mon Scotland!!!!

Avoiding a severe trouncing is all I ask for.

Loads of Pride, Passion, Commitment and a 'W' may not be as far out of reach as certain commentators think.

The Scots played their hearts out and were very unlucky not to win.

DAMN! I really was hoping they would make it!

Australia 35 v Scotland 34 - last minute penalty edges the Aussies through.

Pwoud, vewy, vewy pwoud........  worst referee thus far though.

    As for this tosspot......

Wit an arrogant plonker he is!

I've seen the last minutes of it - thrilling, to say the least!

For the first time ever, I have understood some items of Rugby, and I liked it.

I also liked the passion involved and the rapid changing of fortune - that was suspense!

No comment on rules - I don't know them ;)

You should be proud! The Scots almost won!

I think the ref was fine with his decisions, and I think that both teams played their hearts out.

And did you see the Argentina match??? That was just a beautiful rugby exhibition! Ireland unfortunately was completely outplayed.

Sleeve of balls to the 1st person who correctly guesses the 2 teams in the final:

    South Africa

    Argentina

    New Zealand

    Australia
