OK. I've been looking at this thread a bit, mainly because a couple of friends have checked in.

This all started with just another multi being found out and banned. WTG WGT.

Umm. I think it's time this died it's natural death.

Kind of unnatural, the amount of animosity engendered.

    Let there be peace?

I'm also very confused.  As to how someone hits a 37 on Best of Par 4, including an eagle, on their very first day.

    Not bad going.

    And hasn't played since.....

    MBaggese:

Do you have a suggestion/plan, on how to stop this?

    I do...

...Players like me suffer the most here, I was a loyal above average but like many never quite good enough to make or stay even in credit terms... I am not a gamer, but played regularly at work, but in the end it became very expensive and  a little insulting...

...perhaps because of multis WGT never reflected rising equipment costs in their free tournaments or tier jumps....never wanted a lot but should be should be able to afford a few sleeves or something for top 20 finish....as it stands you couldn't buy 1 ball if you came 1st (When it first started I think you could buy a few sleeves for a win... ) Its less the prize but more respect for players, especially on tier jumps. I know I will get 225 credits for getting to tour legend which just seems rude.

In the end I felt I almost wanted to get one back on WGT...another story...

The solution is simple you keep the current system to allow WGT to keep there new customers (multis still show up as new customers for them) looks good on records for and company value WGT. Multis probably give 40% of new customers signing up, WGT would never scarface this ...

...but you add another side of WGT which is higher paid free tournaments and RGs etc but only for verified players (they already have a verified scheme but with no real incentives or competitions). Verification should be like poker sites, with passport, driving licence etc. Pokers sites also have the free side which WGt will need to keep to give the company value but its loyal, honest customers get verified and can play free tournaments with verification and loyalty purses that actually reflect equipment costs. A player could also be verified immediately on joining if they wished or just play the current way...I guarantee if you showed (eg) The Hack leader board for weekly single unverified Vs verified you would see a huge difference in scores and likewise RGs.

If you dont want to be verified you have the site the way it is....enjoy! I would certainly like to be verified and play the same site but with only verified players. The two could very easily coexist like they do in poker.

It would curb I think 98% of multis, you will of course have a few sneek through with other family members ID etc but much harder.....and still limit people at best to having just 2 accounts...also this would be even more effective than on poker sites because its really only about staying profitable within WGT.

Also I think all big tourneys like Opens Should just be for just verified players.

The trouble with an only online business is that it does not obey the 'more profitable to keep old customer, than get new ones' because its just about new customers, they can value an online business just on sign ups, doesn't matter if one guy signs up 100x and never plays they can sell that side.

If WGt had some customer loyalty and introduced this feature. I would sign up and probably return, its a great game, but now for loyal customers who need a competitive and appreciated edge to compete (like most here now) Need to know its fair and they are valued. (within the game....not life!)

    peace

n.b on a side note, why does anyone try to stop forum arguments? bizarre..

.....maybe just envy on my part, but not sure how you can use words like "suffer and loyal", when you're avoiding your actual job to play this game instead....sounds like a pretty good gig to me.......lol

ps...if you say that you meant "just on your lunch hour", then I apologize up front...:)
