  I liken it more to them waiting to see how long and loud the dissent is before deciding whether or not to let the issue kind of slide by the wayside. (How long has it been since the concede function in AS worked in extra holes?) Ya, ya, then comes the prioritizing bit, etc. etc., I get it. AS is way down on the list, for whatever reason.

  As ive posted on there, twitched a round on the other game, progressing well it is. Still behind this game but only by a gnats chuff.

  Eaglesfan your probably right, folks should not get up tight about being called names ya goof ball ;-)

  Just MHO but A/S games only require half the ball use individually, so they're not jumping through any hoops to make it right.

       Theres a Practice Swing Meter option???  Is this just swinging WITHOUT clicking on the ding-line, or is there actually a Practice Swing Meter option I`ve been missing ? I could step back away from the ball and practice my snap in the last golf sim I played (MS Links LS)  Have the WGT ever considered this option ? Just SEEING the meter speed isn`t much help at all if you can`t interact with it in a practice mode.....

  A practice swing is when you don't stop the swing meter, your character will swing without hitting the ball.

  You are correct though. I rarely play multiplayer games nowadays.  I did plenty of my share back in the day.  However, the same thing holds true now as it was then.  I don't have connection problems when I play (unless the site is down).  Eight years, no serious problems.  That must make me special, right?  Hardly.

  (now speaking to no one in particular)

  Do I get the boot once or twice in a blood moon eclipse?  Of course.  That's going to happen no matter what on the internet.  But no, I don't seem to have those constant, nagging, connection problems that supposedly "plague" the game.  I just run into people that do.  Therefore, I am to conclude it is the people who are the problem much more often than not.

  With some respect, If you don't play multi's , skins , matchplay etc then you are in no position to comment.
  
  I can absolutely assure you that ALL the guys I play with both at my club and elsewhere, and that's quite a lot, either stopped playing for credits because they get kicked 3x and lose them ,or are completely hacked off with the bugs that now crash the game constantly, or even quit the game until it gets fixed.
  
  That is the state of play at wgt right now.

  I don't believe that the programmer at wgt understands enough to fix the bugs tbh, so they need to remove the 3 disconnects rule and make it optional for the players.

  When they have such bad programmers and servers,why are they imposing these kind of silly restrictions on the players.They must also introduce the drop the game option in Alternate Shot lobby too like in matchplay games.

  My best friend here in WGT is about to quit WGT altogether due to all these errors.I am clinging on but if this situation persists then guess have to find some other place to spend my time.

  WGT may patronize their favorite champions and the single player format.But once more people start leaving WGT due to AS and multiplayer connection issues,WGT will eventually realize that most of their customer base providing revenue are the multi player casual players.

  Ad banner at the top of my WGT main page today read "Your Network Is Slow".

  How to turn off the Voice commentary? Was able to do it for a while, but that option was gone as of 9/29.

  When I wrote to WGT about the disconnection problems I asked if they would consider eliminating the three strikes and you're out rule, at least while these problems persist. Their reply was that they were not going to eliminate the forfeit after 3 disconnects rule, because there were players who would deliberately disconnect in an effort to get their opponents to quit matches.

  Sigh. What a laughable reply that was. Obviously that's the original reason for having the three strikes rule, and it's a good rule - when there aren't rampant disconnection issues like there are lately! I figured what's the use even trying to re-explain why they might want to consider suspending that rule.
