The moving green grid with the putter is a long-time coming. I've been lining up my putts with wedges for 8 years. Gonna be hard to break that habit.
Your profile shows you joined in August 2010, either my maths isn't very good or I've missed something?
Hey, nice to meet you, congrats on reaching Champion tier.
Assuming my career was consistent of only one account then you would be correct. However, I've had an account before this one, won my fair share and shut it down (as in closed it. Even I can't login to it anymore.) I was a grinder then, playing 40-50 rounds or more a week. I eventually burned out. Not because of anything WGT did. They've always done a bang-up job. I just got bored with it one day. Funny how that happens.
I then disappeared for about a year or so. Eventually I found my way back and restarted with a brand new account (this one). I've actually been here since before stroke play or clubs other than WGT Starters existed. Back when it just the Bali Hai 9-hole skills challenge. I've seen the whole history of this game, save for that one year in the middle. And while I'm happy to see the game itself has evolved greatly in that time, the forum has not.
I see these complaints about disconnections and I'm thinking, "Hey at least you guys have a lobby to go back to. We didn't have a lobby. If one person disconnected once you were done. Fancy a restart mate?" So color me limited with patience given the options folks have available to them now.
Then they come to the forum and complain, but not in a proper way, because that is too difficult. Instead you just end up with drivel that bolsters the complainers and suddenly everyone's living in this world with a completely warped perspective.
I mean you've got people who probably graduated in with a Communications or Art degree, dropped out of high-school and/or failed their GED exam calling people with Computer Engineering degrees idiots. I'm not sure how much more skewed of an opinion you can possibly get.
Everyone's got the right to complain. We don't have the right to degrade others when we exercise that right. And we also do ourselves a disservice when we cannot conduct ourselves appropriately. It's really up to you to choose what the moral standard for your own behavior will be.
But that's quite enough out of me. One post is plenty for now and two is far too many.
Keep your perspective. Try to do something difficult today everyone.
Take care and enjoy the game.
