    I had the 96 Versa first and knew it well. The M1 is better, IMO. More forgiveness AND precision. You usually sacrifice one for the other but the M1 gives you increases in both.
    Well Jim, that is the same exact boat I am in and exactly what I presumed, but your vouch is all I need to roll...and rock ;-}

    Thanks also Scott Hope, I feel way better now... ~ SP ~

    Interesting aside on the M1. I'm a ding putter but haven't always been. Back in the days of the Redwood I used to miss to steer putts. I got away from that when the Ghost came out but decided to give it a try again, just for the experience. Oy with a vey! It works like a champ that way with the M1.

    I still ding putts but on occasion, when it just feels right, a proper miss gets good results. If one is committed to that way of putting the M1 is definitely the ticket.  :-)

    ....I tried both the ding method and the off-ding method with a variety of putters. I'm still 60-40 with putts from 4 ft, 50-50 from 5 ft, 40-60 from 6 ft, etc,....my tried and true putting method now, is to hope my p puts the approach shot in cc range....:)

    Same here YJ, and with the Nike M1 you get a very consistent distance whether you ding or miss ding.

    Totally forgot about that I'm so used to it. Exactly right, when you miss the ding your distance doesn't suffer. I see that a lot with the Vapors, too.

    This is a real quandary for me. I know I want the M2, but selling my versa to reduce the cost is still gonna hurt.

    Man, what a dilemma.

    yep, what to do, what to do , rent it 700 cr , then i would get 10% off if i like it? 460 cr- discount , still lose almost 300 cr on that deal, i really like the 15-30-60 inc , & from what i read the M1 seems to fit both styles of putting & im years away from level 101 ..                                                                                                                                                                                         :edit seems to really "track" better then my lvl 70 Versa, bottom line my putting needs help, first couple games w/ it & im impressed  , but even if i had the 400k cr golden putter i will never be as good as some of the "super " players on WGT, but what the heck i have heaps of extra credits, so i grabbed it..
