Actually although the Nike does have .5 more forgiveness I dont see the .2 differential in balance or precision making that much of a difference

It does and the only way you're going to know is by using it for an extended period. Not saying go out and buy it but I am saying those increases make a difference.  :-)

Not sure at all that M1 or M2 are real upgrade for versa 96
This probably holds true for people who need significant putting improvement.

i qualify as one that needs putting improvement, only time will tell i guess, but i would never sell back my lvl 70 Versa just in case :)   ..                  again you dont need any help 11BC2, keep up the fine play..

with the Nike M1 you get a very consistent distance whether you ding or miss ding.

Totally forgot about that I'm so used to it. Exactly right, when you miss the ding your distance doesn't suffer. I see that a lot with the Vapors, too.

Hmmm, I love my L96 Versa but this could be a selling point for me.  I have quite a few putts come up just short or slow down too much and wander wide when I miss the ding.

Damn, I need to get a second job.  That thing is expensive.

I freely admit that I'm not the brightest bulb in the package, but can someone please tell me the difference between the M1 and M2. To me they appear to be the same putter?

M1 has increment scales like Versa (15-30....)

M2 has like lower Nike putters (10-20.....)

Can you realize that benefit using the "Rock"? I have seen a wider  Deviation and Variance  with my  L96 Versa since the introduction of the extra camera views. I have been trying to  compensate by putting with more pace but the penalty can be severe.

i agree its consistent either if you ding or off-ding, one big thing i noticed is the ball comes off the face a lot slower then my versa 70, even playing on champ 14s i had to give it a tad more then usual, which is kinda good cause even on a miss the ball stays near the hole, putting is still a enigma to me lol, but i have a feeling w/ practice & more practice i will really dial it in ..
