It would be very beneficial. I think. if we could practice or play a match while keeping a tournament game saved.  More times than I can count, I've had my meter turn into a Demon that can't be tamed.  Sometimes it can be fixed by resetting WGT, and if that doesn't work, shutting down and restarting my computer.  The problem is, I can't test whether it is fixed or not and am forced to go back to the tournament game and probably lose more strokes if it hasn't been rectified.

    Is this improvement possible WGT?

Not a good idea.  With that implemented players could, for example, practice that 35 -40 foot putt they have from behind the Chambers Bay pin on hole 1.   Or for that matter any shot faced in a tournament round.

    Thumbs down.

I agree 100 % - Lots of times I may be playing a  CC Tournament  and I will get a request to play a AS game.I would like to put the tourney on save and hold, play the AS game and return to the tourney game.

The best option WGT could initiate is to allow CC members to play a CC tourney together.

A Valid opinion that didn't occur to me but I'm pretty sure it would be far to much trouble to be used on a regular basis.

Occasionally using your suggestion to dial in a critical tournament shot is OK with you then?

    Not with me.

I am against and agree with Andyson.....just opens up more loopholes for players to gain an advantage, regardless of how often it is used.

I have never seen a pro say....can I come back later, something better has come up (or I will be back after practicing this shot)?

I do understand the Alt Shot offers etc....but we are talking 30 minutes tops...if you had just teed off in an 18 holer.

If thousands of people had games saved would it affect anything else? Just asking.

It's OK really. as you know, cheaters will find a way.  Let me add that practice greens always play differently than Tournament greens.

Of course you could fire up fire fox and maxthon at the same time and follow yourself around and practice that critical shot or putt so I bet some already are doing this
