  On second thought, based on bhoese's putter precision testing, even the top level putters have built in distance deviations of 10 to 20 inches on a 20ft putt.  And that in its self would account for any feeling the greens play differently.  It is impossible to verify if practice greens play differently than tournament IMO.

  Absolutely correct!  Therefore. stopping a game to practice a certain shot would be fruitless.

  I still disagree.  Not totally fruitless as the cup is 4.25 inches wide you will still get a better idea of the break thru practice.

  *edit*  On third thought.....

  For courses with two pins....Other than on the 1st or 10th hole where in practice mode you can restart to get the correct pin, it is a lot of trouble and time to do so on the following holes.  It's still practical IMO to get a good idea of the break of a putt via practice for the many courses with only one pin.

  I guess my lights are dimmer than I thought. I hadn't even thought this thread was suggesting to use the save and quit to practice a hole, especially in a game.

  I meant to have the option to save a game to go play another and be able to return and finish the game you saved

  Not to my knowledge, but does a pro ALWAYS have a perfect swing like on WGT? Of course not, and I suppose a bad meter can be akin to a poor swing. On WGT you can close the browser and it is often better (not always - I had a shocking meter a couple of days ago, first in many a moon) but the Pro must soldier on - seen John Daly do this a few times lol (except when he runs out of golf balls).

  It.s OK to disagree and I am sure your opposition will be noted.  However I did not write the post to ague about my suggestion, only to get an answer from WGT about it's possibility.

  You've been around long enough to know posting a suggestion invites other opinions and rarely a definitive answer from WGT. 

  Did you ever think to test your meter as a Guest?

  Simple.

  Log out in the game client.  Select a stroke course and tee off.  Ignore the pop-up for a lesson and you can still swing.  Or take the lesson and swing during the lesson.
