If they gave you an enema - they could bury the rest of your sad body in a f8cking matchbox.  But , for me , you're not a worthy reason to make 50 or so matches homeless.

Seething and trying too hard. What a truly awful put down.

You're not very good at this but thanks for playing anyway .

Paul...I have publically stated that I have an immense amount of respect for you and your opinions on this site...but I gotta tell ya bro, the quoted put down by Flares is damn funny...I'm still laughing.

Yeah, in retrospect, it is quite funny.

I think it would be snappier and funnier without the f8cking, it's a bit clumsy. Feightcking? It takes your mind away from the joke.

I like flares, his posts are clever and funny (if not a bit long winded).

He drops the odd clanger and attacks when you poke him with a stick, game on.  :)

I'd also reached a good-point in my putting at last , and playing 10's , 11's and 12's was affecting my accuracy heavily. So I thought it best to concentrate on only 12 greens - and legend tier is the place for that.  I personally prefer 13 greens but can wait for that one! I certainly won't be knocking-out another 400 quick-rounds of St A to get to TL and those lovely 13's.

I like your thinking.  It is a good idea as TM to test out the Black Tees before you get promoted to Legend as most start to struggle when they do.

You just have to find out or figure out what type of shot is troubling you now.  With quite a few games  on St'A you should  know the course very well and shooting 29/30's more often on the front9.   I used a benchmark -2 after 4 holes on the front 9,  then the last 5 holes were basically a birdie chance.

At St. Andrews, I have always thought that the front 9 odd holes and back 9 even were the best birdie chances.

Of course all are birdieable and bogeyable on a given day.

I want to name my next child Beth (no chance of that)   lol.   My Favorite course

For me there is 5 gimme birds on the front9.  Holes, 1,2,4,6,9.  Well that's the plan anyway. There's 30.  Bird on any of the others and score drops (no boges)

Back9 you have to be more agressive with the approach because the ball will come up short too many times if you don't and with bigger rolls on green then you can struggle.

I'm sorry for being defensive and abusive to a couple of people

You have to cut the swearing part, Probably why you are being watch at the moment.

Don't overthink too much about each shot though.   A simple rule for me on St.A the ball will spin and roll in the direction of the wind within reason.  Be careful with the spin on the 1st front pin.  The ball can spin off the green into the water.

Edit...  I should say too,  never try to sink your approach shots to green.  Just work on getting those short shots close to flag so you can sink the putt for bird.
