in September, just five months ago, told us WGT:

    ""Experience Levels and New Tiers

    01 Sep 2010

    New WGT Levels and Tiers

In today's release, WGT has expanded our Tiers and added new Experience Levels to make the game more fair and fun for everyone........""

    same line today?

    seanobrien:
A congressional baseball cap and the rules of golf, and a pair of tickets for the KLM open (worth $120 by the way) which were awarded too close to the tournament start to be of any use.

Should have stuck the them on E-Bay, then you could buy LOADS of credits with your sold items, then you could buy new equipment, and play Ready'Go's without spending YOUR money.....

i said from the start of these new balls coming out that you'd see 25's and low 50's needed to win comps from now on. add the payout system to the mix and it's simple.......

WGT don't mind the top players winning all the time, they make no money for them. give lower tiers the super new ball and they think it'll turn them into a better player. they then spend all their money in comps thinking they have a chance, quickly find out this isn't the case and have to deposit real money.

    WGT make a sack load.

the only thing i'll change my tune to is i originally i thought the new balls would have everyone scoring low, hence why i thought it should only be a legend ball, i now realise it's to keep the top end players, who can handle the ball, taking the big prizes and leaving everyone below going slowly broke and having to put in money.

the top earners of the RG's are a great buffer to prevent normal talent players from being able to make profit. there's nothing wrong in that, the good players deserve all they get for being that good, but it leaves no room for the lesser players to make 'ball money'.

which in some cases will increase multiple account activity as good TM/ Master/ TP start up another account to hustle the MPC's for their money. lol, which in turn eventually puts the losers out of credits and needing to deposit to keep going in the game.

genius when you start thinking about it.

    that's my take anyway.

    Hi guys/gals,

I was off with my earlier statement. I would like to clarify it. When I said we are not looking for feedback, I was wrong. My thoughts were that we are not looking for feedback right now because after over a year of using a different system, we should allow new to work for a bit before having any kind of data to evaluate. I used wrong wording and it created a whole new meaning, much different from what I intended. I am sorry for that.

To clarify: we are always looking for the system that will be best for all parties involved. As you know, everyone at WGT reads the forums. But, this is an important thread so I made sure everyone who has not had a chance to read it, will read it.

I do want to bring a few things in light. The payout bug is confirmed and we are trying to fix it asap. It is #1 priority. Also, the payout system now pays out higher % than before.

I cannot say what will come in the future, but we are listening. Please be patient and continue offering your ideas.

If you guys are really wanting the best for the players, why did you change a prefect working tournament? Or is it so that loads of players all year long complained about the fact that it was to easy to make a few credits in the ready go's?

And the fact that you call the new pay out system a bug is just a load of BS. You guys intriduced this new system just to generate more money and simply: you should say so and not beat around the bush.

If you are the spokesman for WGT in this matter, I really feel sorry for the rest , but I hope sincerely that there is someone who exactly can say what the intention was of this change in pay out and what they think to do about it when the amount of complaints are growing and growing, and the amount of players in the RG are diminishing every day?

no, (bolded part) not the payout system but the 99 cent issue in the payout system (it's a bug that somehow calculates it wrong).

WGTIcon, havn't you not noticed that Ready Go's arn't filling up quickly anymore.  And no one was complaining about the OLD payout system (It was fairer to everyone), the winners were not complaining atall that they were not receiving enough credits.

Now some one who has say a 67 can win same amount as someone who scores 63.  At least in the old system you would get rewarded for how well you played.

If it wasn't broke, why fix it??? The majority of people are complaining about it, only the minority usuall winners who are not.

I won a ready go for the first time yestardy and was well pleased, but I STILL PREFER old system, like the rest of us daily enthusiastic Ready 'go addicts!

Please admit you've shot yourself in the foot and go back to how it was.......At least the forums will be less full of people complaining and more people will be back out playing golf, and buying new balls!!

We are reading and listening. As with anything new, we are taking a look and awaiting feedback.

Here is what we are concentrating on:

    1. We’re trying to solve the problem that only Master-Legend players we’re placing or winning RG tournaments, not fun for everyone else

    2. The new tiered RGs are designed to be more fair and enable players at all tiers (Pro-Legend) to have a chance to place or win

    3. WGT is not making more money, actually 1% less

    4. With anything new, we’ll listen closely to feedback and consider changing formats and payouts

    Thank for you being patient

    1. they're good, it'll never change.

    2. this part of the change is good. well for lower tiers anyway, in my tier i'm competing against the same scores as in the free for alls.

    3. not surprised as no-one is playing them.

    4. feedback? it sucks, change it back. pretty please :)

    cheers,

    Paul
