  If you want to get the old democratic pay out system for the ready go back, instead of the bully one wgt now installed, place your voice and vote here

  I'm with you on this.

  I don't see the point of this. Now you have to be in the top 4 to have more than what you invested. And since the guys up in the leaderboard are pretty much always the same, these guys are collecting more money than before and they don't even need it, so what's the point?

  I'm one of the people that would likely benefit from top-heavy payouts and cannot see how this payscale can possibly be a good thing.  All but the very best players stand no chance to make credits longterm under the current format.  It makes no sense to pay first 10x the buyin and pay out 60% of the field.  Something like the payouts below would be a better compromise....

  800 1st

  600 2nd

  400 3rd

  250 4th-8th

  100 9-14th

  50 15-25th

  I don't think it will take long for the decision to be reversed, the fact is many of the regular journeymen such as myself will no longer play them.

  I shot a 61 in the St Andrews 18 hole RG yesterday and got less than 200 credits. It just isn't viable for me to break even over 6 tournaments a day any longer.

  I'm a pretty recent player here.  I have been considering joining RG's lately, since I have begun to be a decent player.  I would imagine that RG tourneys are a significant revenue source for WGT.  With the new system I will definitely NOT be joining in.  Tiered or not, there's simply no way that I can expect to break even with 46 out of 50 players losing money in the new payout scheme.  It's a total non-starter.

  I have never played RG's, so I have no real interest. What gets me though ....is that this is yet another botched implementation.

  WGT ..how about before u do the next "tweak" ..why dont u set up a small forum of players (of all abilities) and run the ideas past them first? Might save u a lot of grief down the road.

  Tiffer I hope you are correct in the speed of the "fix" to revert back to the old system.    I too probably average 6 ready gos a day but at this point will be stopping that and watching for a while.

  You got my vote, this payout structure is way off. It will only benefit the best of the best. The rest just get to donate their credits to them, no thanks.

  The irony in all of this is of course the Legend tier came about in order to make competition more "equitable", now we have a pay out system catered to the elite, lol...
