Hi to all who read this

I was wondering the procedure on how to get a screen picture of your own golf scores on to the blog page?  Could anyone give me a step by step of the procedure??  A very big thank you to all who answer me:)

First thing to do is take a screenshot of your scorecard. I use Windows snipping tool for this. Click on your start menu on bottom left of your screen and type snip into the search, then click on snipping tool when it comes up,snip the part you want and then save it to your 'my pictures' file -

To post your scorecard ( or photo ) it has to have a URL (web address). To do this you need to use an image hosting website, there are lots of them. The one I go to is very simple to use - Postimage.org - click on browse, go to my pictures and click on the image you want, then set the re-size option to 'do not re-size my picture' once uploaded it will give you a few different options, use the one that says 'direct link', click the 'copy to clipboard' button.

Now start your forum post or go to your blog. Click on the little film icon at top of the pop up,then right click (that's your clipboard that pops up now) and paste scorecard URL in there, underneath where you pasted it is the number 550, change that to 450, if you are posting on another players wall, then change the 550 to 225.Now click the 'insert' button.  You should now see the scorecard, then just click post and you are done.

Sounds and maybe looks a bit complicated but it's quite simple after a few tries.

If you get it wrong at first just delete your post and start over, hope this helps.

Paul, while ur here help me please.

I have used Postimg for ages but just lately when I upload my file the links I am given do not include a direct link, I get two BBCode options and a HTML option and summat else, so I dunno which one to choose.

If I click on my uploaded picture and then r-click that and copy image URL, that doesn't work when I post it, I can see it, but anyone else cannot.

The direct link is always the second one down in a long list of codes when it works for me.

Very frustrating being so stupid sometimes.

Sorry can't really help, it's working fine my end. Very occasionally I get problems with postimage but not the one you describe John.

I usually switch to tinypic or imgur then go back to postimage next day.

Try the Hotlink for Forums link. Just post the link direct without using the Insert Media icon.

Very helpful. Perhaps WGT could use the same "fakepath" they use for profile pics? would be SO much easier.

Same here. Drag it into your quick launch bar for quick access.

@John-I use that file service too and always get that direct link-the 2nd one down. That's the one you insert in the media box.

Sounded like you don't always get that. Is that right?

Would it be possible for you to post an example of that right click image URL that doesn't work correctly for you John?
