Nice post Frank- I live in Canada and really enjoy WGT in the winter months. I just love playing this game it is so realistic- I cannot imagine how good it will be in the future as more courses Are added. In real golf sometimes people put beer in their bag because they do not want to pay $6.00 to the club. I keep a flask of tequila in mine, but I still buy a couple from the club because I want them to prosper and make the course better over time. As far as this game is concerned just keep playing and only spend what you want to spend and keep playing. Have fun be happy and happy new year to all of you

Difference being, for 6$ you get beer, overpriced but a refreshing drink.

Here, there's nought in exchange - they get the credits and you get nothing of any value in return. The accompaning good feeling "to have done something for your CC" (whith reason or not) seems to be enough for some, not for me!

Lol. There's 175 in your club and some of them must work 24 hrs per day, 7 days a week looking at last time some played.

I'm in a position now where I will never have to work again.

I earned that position the hard-way.

Last thing I want to do is come on here for entertainment and listen to some gripe about members having to go to work - especially when the subject is participation in a nonsensical-Clash

But you still requested a sleeve of Nikes during the 12 days of Xmas ?...why weren't you one of the Santas?

    +1000 CT!

I mentioned this during the Christmas giveaway. There were way too many high level players begging.

You probably already pay for course maintenance/improvements with membership/ green fees or whatever.  On here money paid, adverts watched, surveys completed, etc are already paid for green fees, to get equipment etc.  If you want to donate money to wgt for new courses why not just do that?  They'll probably take it and may even buy you a virtual beer.

Do these passes give extra experience points to the player? (not directed at Dennis in particular). My guess is they do but I'm not certain.  Who says you can't buy experience, there seems to be many ways of doing that in this game.

By the way Dennis, you really shouldn't drink and drive.

Alosso, I'm confused and I by no means want to get in an argument as this is a genuine question... You have posted well in to the tens of thousands times on the forums, and for the most part from the threads I've seen you in all you do is moan about the game and begrudge WGT for their 'money grabbing' ways. So heres my question; Why are you here?

I think Frank put it well by saying its not as if this FREE game would exist if it wasn't for adverts and in-game purchases. However, it is a choice to pay, not a requirement. If you want to, do; if you don't, don't. But why moan about it all the time?

Odd statement from a CC owner with over 200 members in his club. Very inspirational...lol

As far as clashes go...to each his own...:)

    Explain "odd" please.

Is there not enough explanation in the sentence before which you chose not to highlight?

Explain why it should be supportive for a CC if 37 cr are given to WGT multiple times?

You might also want to explain which advantage my CC (250 member limit, CC level 10) might have additional XPs?

I am here because I like the game and the courses and I love the views!

The highlighted part isn't true, I'm afraid. At least in half of my posts, I'm trying to be helpful to fellow players. If appropriate, I give some deeper insight to the public.

I know that WGT needs earnings to be our host and I gladly pay for clubs and balls, but the whole system from CC XPs to the Golden Calf is a major pet peeve of mine,
I consider it money grabbing with no value returned!

It's quite interesting to see how you reduce my presence here to one subject, as I criticise much more: Communication, "QA", state of the game, $ display of credit winnings, ...

It's not easy when you tell a mod that the VT leaderboards are broken and he replies, "There are no changes."

Alas, can anybody tell me the Q4/2015 winners of VT in the top tiers?

I understood fully what you were saying in the first part of your post...I agree with it and don't play clashes. But, like I said, to each his own. I found it "odd" that, as a CC owner, you would seem to demean what makes another player feel good about what he or she is contributing to their CC...maybe it's the way you worded it.

ps. I do agree with you, that many of your posts are meant to provide advice, and cover a wide range of subject matter.

Still two questions of mine open, and more explanation due:

How is "seems to be enough for some, not for me!" demeaning?

You might want to take down the glasses through which you are looking at me(?)
