Alosso - I do owe you an apology. Indeed I've only seen you here in the posts which directly or indirectly end up attacking the club I play in. If you do indeed spend most your time helping other WGT members then I take back my question about why you're hear if you only seem to moan.

Dodgy - No I don't spend much time in the main forum as I'm a member of a club which has a very helpful forum itself and I get most if not all my help from there so I've not ventured in to the main forum much for help. Hence not know if the above does help or just sit there moaning. I do however disagree with the 'if you do spend you get nothing for it' comment. It's a virtual game, if you spend money on things you get virtual things. Ok, they aren't tangible, but they are things you can get virtually which you can't if you don't spend. I don't get anything tangible from Netflix but it does give me the ability to watch things I wouldn't see if I didn't pay the monthly subscription. Ok, not the best analogy but you get my drift. If no-one bought anything on WGT it would shut down. People get upset about connection and server issues, but how do people think WGT can upgrade these without making money? (I'm assuming they spend income on upgrades but I appreciate that may be flawed... how long we been waiting for 'the Bank' for instance.ha)

    Solarflares:

Begging?  You have no idea what you are talking about.

Do you not remember who I am?   You know - the guy that helped you a while back!

Talk about a kick in the teeth.   Think I might take a break from you women.

CT - you can have your balls-back as far as I'm concerned.  Two of them are in the drink at St A hole 1 if you want them.  Not sure about the other one - I think I might have used it in a game of Alts with some calculator-cheats.

Pete..The first part of your post has nothing to do with me....I gifted the balls because you requested them during the 12 days of Xmas..You later posted that you never have to work again ? and left the impression you are financially well off. You then explained (in a follow up post) what your true situation is...the sleeve is of no consequence to me...as far as Alt cheats?, those are my friends and they are honorable people. We were one shot down with one to play... you hit a bad shot and forfeited the match. It was very poor sportsmanship on your part.

Now chill out and control your temper.

I do spend money here and I get virtual clubs and balls, from them I get entertainment and enjoyment.  You're right,  I spend money on virtual things I get virtual things.  I'm not sure you really don't realise but just in case, you are quoting completely out of context.  What was said was specifically in relation to buying passes and nobody remotely suggested buying any sort of equipment at all was a waste of work or money.  When you buy a pass you get virtual ...?

I believe buying passes gets your cc some extra experience(?) points.  As has been asked often; what level are those buying passes trying to get their cc up to, and what does the cc get when they reach it?

Well thanks dodgy- but my driving is static with the big stick all by itself, that's why the virtual game is compelling.you can actually spank it far & straight. As for the XP points they must count as I levelled up during one of my clash rounds. Guys these clashes are here to stay I believe from October- March. I would not be surprised seeing 3 per month. #15 had more clubs battling as less negativity regardless of this post. Happy new year all keep swing

    Gladly accepted.

I'm not posting here to attack your CC nor any player, but unfortunately they are the most prominent party following a path in the game which finds not any positive thoughts from me because it's solely to the company's increased benefit compared to the time before.
(Once upon the time, 500 cr were enough to create a 250 members' CC with full rights)

Of course, you will likely feel attacked when I attack in a most broad way what those are doing who try to gain the most CC XPs or win the Clashes. It's not pointing at you though.

Still, nobody has given an answer to the general questions,

"What is the benefit of leading the XP leaderboards at L19, weekly or general?"

"What is the benefit of being runner-up in a Clash Event or even winning it?"

    which would rebut mine: "None!"

Instead, my critique was mis-read, misinterpreted and answered by hot air and unsubstantial and personal attacks - a sad fact to forum culture and freedom of speech.

Have a nice day - I take a good night at 11:06 pm.

I also think he's been helpful in this thread, I haven't noticed him telling anyone not to spend on this site, just saying that in his opinion if you spend this way you get nothing for it.

This, and all of the full post! Thanks a lot!!

Yeah...that freedom of speech thing can be a pain in the ass. You readily took exception to my "hot air", saying I was running in circles and spouting drivel (certainly not a "personal attack" ?), because I had difficulty with the following:

"The accompaning good feeling "to have done something for your CC" (with reason or not) seems to be enough for some, not for me!"

I give you full credit for the many ways you help people and have agreed with your position on most issues. I didn't agree on this particular issue and you responded to me with sarcasm and a belittling tone. Your quote implies the good feelings people get from helping their CC, as they define it, may be foolish, and certainly beneath you. Who are you, or anyone, to define for people what is an appropriate contribution?. Let them choose without caveat or comment.

After re-reading all the posts in this thread and in others, my belief is that you are fine until someone disagrees with you, then you become condescending and petty. You will receive no apology from me. But I will provide my honest opinion to your posts, both when I agree and disagree with them. You have that same right. I just hope you do so with the level of respect that you expect from everyone else.
