  So, the other evening, pretty late, I set up a bracket tourney. 

  I thought I'd wait 'til morning to sign up. 

  I guess I should've known. Too late.

  Happy New Year to All,

   

  In the last 6 weeks out club has gone from strength to strength and we have now reached level 7.  When we first started out as a new owner (which does not come with a handbook) I stupidly measured my club on xp performance only.  Now with a great management team behind me and after several board meetings our requirements have changed.  We are now busy sorting the wheat from the chaff, and hoping to be left with a solid membership, who will join our new chatroom, new private forum away from WGT, a new website to come and also a poker room for Saturday evening fun.  Where once people who requested to join were immediately  accepted, they are now being vetted by myself and the directors.  With this in mind the new catch phrase is Quality not Quantity.

  CRAVEN DALE GOLF CLUB

  How would you like to join arguably the fastest growing club on W G T.

  Formed 27th November 2015 and already have over 100 members (capacity 150)  including a champion, because people like what we stand for,

  Our needs as a Country Club have evolved during the short time we have been going, now busy sorting the wheat from the chaff and of course with this we have learned what we do and don't want.

  If you are an active member who wishes to be part of a close knit community of like minded individuals

  If you are someone who enjoys playing both in club tournaments and games with/against other members

  Someone who will contribute to the growth of our club and become involved in our newly opened private Forum and Chatroom

  Someone who wish to take part in the events on offer such as Inter Club events/tournaments/leagues

  Then come and see ME now.

  Our Tournament Manager Jim runs a wide and varied tournament programme, including uneven lies.

  Craven Dale also has a private poker game room for everyone, no money involved, operates Saturday evenings from 9PM

  Your level/tier is not important to us but what we don't want is

  Players only looking to play solo rounds

  Players only looking for free shot pal and putter pal

  Players looking to find a date, or girlfriend

  Players not wiling to interact

  Players who are only available during Bank Holidays and Christmas

  I tried to wall message you but i am blocked so i have to come on here. A gentleman joined our club 4th January, you have friended him 11th (no problem with that), but he is a pending invite to your club. Please remove him as inviting folk from other clubs is not a nice thing to do.

  As explained, blocked from private message, although not sure why, but aint bothered either. Think i may of hit a nerve regarding poaching comments in past.

  I can hold head up.

  On a general POV, this subject seems to be another programmed mess.

  Starting from the bottom of that list out of curiosity, two out of four users are also members of said CC. Thus, the list doesn't clear by itself as we might expect.

  Another extra work for CC owners :(

  I have approximately 5 pending members on that list who are members.  I did query with email to WGT but short of removing them there is no way to deal with the malfunction and I am not about to do that.

   

  I do not know who the player is you are referring to.  Is it possible he was a pending on my list before he joined you?  

   

  Either way, I have unblocked you so if you would care to post on my profile I would appreciate the name concerned, or is it that the player concerned has left you and joined me.

   

  I can assure you Poaching is no longer something I participate in intentionally unless you belong to Black Diamond Hills in which case it is fair game as he tried to poach 9 of my players.

  I have removed many players in the last few days after doing serious vetting on them including dual account holders, I have also approached the holders of such clubs to accept my friend requests so I can make them aware.  So whilst your posts make me out to be slimy I can assure you, I have not knowingly tried to attempt to Poach any of your club members nor ever would I.
