the golden <beep> - ehm - Putter

  I received a question, titled "the golden turd",

  and since I cannot answer it, maybe the forum can:

  "How does the owner if the georgians gift it to members?  If you can't gift equipment??"

   

  First guestimating answer is, "She receives 400,000 cr from WGT and uses them to gift it through the Pro Shop."

  Maybe WGT's Director of Clashes just contacts her and asks who she wants them to give it to.

  That's exactly what happens. She didn't even give me a congrats for winning the last clash because she already had someone else in mind to give it to.

  Of the players that have it , has there been any feed back on its performance ? According to its stats its a monster putter on paper anyway .

  "WOW" What happened Dave  ?  you played 11 rounds , and scored a 198 in each round ?

  Lonnie...I had asked a similar question a while back...I cant remember who responded, but he said he had one of these gold putters. He said they are nothing special, and that he still misses short putts...lol

  I have played well over 6000 games of alternate (4 people, obviously) with a lot of random selections as players... I have never seen these putters used by anyone.

  No that's just me trying to earn exp for my new club last clash I scored 5037 points for the Georgian

  One player was allowed to test it, one player even bought it. Yes, for 400,000 cr.
  The former wasn't too impressed IIRC, the latter uses another putter now.

  Alas, the main characteristics are the price - exorbitant! - and the colour - Gold!!

  That makes it a perfect Golden Calf in the Clashes, major part of the useless prizes offered there.

  its not gold in colour its rust colour

  its worth nothing to the owner cannot trade it in for credits 

  a winning cc owner can gift it who she/he wants

  then the owner is stuck with 400,000 credits of equipment thats worth diddly squat
