  I can say I would not notice if someone was using one. Yes the different size putters standout but not colour. Anyway I'm normally sitting picking my nose and shouting "miss miss cat's p!ss" at the screen.

  It's actually much easier than giving 400k credits. WGT contacts the club owner, they tell WGT who the club should go to, CS gives it directly to that player.

  A golden putter never to be seen in public again...no one in their right mind would pull this out of the bag to putt with, especially in a multi-player game...can you imagine the relentless trash talking that would ensue by the other players?...and god help them if they missed a makeable putt...the teasing would never end...lol

  Wouldn't a better idea be, to provide a complete set of top clubs and balls to the selected player?...these would definitely be used and would cost much less than 400K.

  But can't that person sell back the putter to get the credits?  Sorry, just thought of that.

  Nope. Only clubs may be sold back, while we talk about an item of the "CC rewards" section.

  I concur with the opinion that this makes the value "zero", just because there might be any price on the tag. Like the former real Maserati, it's not meant to be sold IMHO but an "unachievable" target to the greedy.

  Alas, it took me to flash some more profiles than I thought from the most "suspective" CC to find one - only two of 20 top members would have it in use ;)

  Ahhh, i stand corrected, i would notice.

  Then again i was having a friendly game the other day and around hole 4 or 5 my oppo lost his ball OOB. I asked if it was a new ball and he said didn`t matter as he had been using starters from the off lol.........never make a detective haha.

  If the gold putter delivered the ball exactly where I aim, it surely wouldn't help my game.
