Southern England Links is a very sociable and very active level 17 club , soon to be 18 . Reaching that level with usually around 130 members is testament to our activity within.

You are never forced to play everything unless you wish, but we ask that you at least play some club tournaments if you are playing WGT.  We dont set tournaments off red tees or ask anyone to buy extra passes, just to use the free one.

Strokeplay/CTTH Leagues, cups, sponsored low credit league, Last Member Standing are just a few of our tournaments, and all completed rounds go toward Order of Merit points and SEL Rankings.

We also run a small credit league with fantastic sponsorship, credits and sleeves donated can be found on our website.

We also have a strong 30 + inter cc team and we play against other CCs on a very regular basis. We use our shoutbox to arrange friendly games and in house matchplay events also. We also have a lot of members who teitch their matches and 3 designated TV Channels.

Here is a more in depth advert we ran

If you wish to join then you must register on our website with your WGT username and then an invite comes ASAP. Or contact me direct if you need to ask any questions. Must be Tour Pro or above.

Full disclosure, I am a current active member of Southern England Links.  I was in one other CC before SEL.  It was smaller with very little activity.  I did not know what I was missing until I joined SEL.  If you like playing tournaments with lots of participation this would be the club for you.  There is a lot of competition while maintaining a friendly and very helpful atmosphere.  I joined as a Tour Pro and was somewhat intimidated by the number of high tier players in the club.  However, this is a very positive attribute for this club.  There is always someone you can turn to when advice is needed.  In the time I have been at the club I have progressed to Tour Master and am anticipating, like it or not, making Legend in a short time.  Them members are great and can not say enough about the management who are really the backbone of the club.  I would not even want to guess the amount of time they put in setting up the tournaments and tracking all of the results.  Bootom line if you are looking for a CC you can not go wrong in chosing Southern England Links.  I for one am glad I did.

Cheers Rick, nice comment mate, and well done. You have Improved no end.

We run an event called Stattopoints this week which also goes toward our 13 week Order of Merit. Like all our comps, activity is very good in this. Just 2 examples below, and both, like the other 4 Stattos, have a few days left for folks to play.

    statto 1

    statto 2

Next week we go again with oir leagues, join now to be in it. Plenty going on with all our 20 slots used and small credit ones as well.

Our new 3 week league season starts today folks, 4 divisions of 20 with a feeder league for new members. We always have 80 to 100 members play these games, great activity and friendly rivalry.

All these games, plus all our SEL tour matches go toward your SEL Ranking points.

Whatever you play, effects your rankings, just like the real thing.

Play what you wish here, no XP chasing as we at level 16 anyway, and no red tees other than the odd easy hole on our few and far between random hole comp.

We have just started our own SEL sponsorship page on our website forum.

    SPINO`S PREMIUM LEAGUES

7,500 credits in the pot and also 21 sleeves, which members have generously put up for the first half of the season. This is two divisions, Legends and above and TMs and below. So all tiers have a chance as prizes are spread equally.

    SEL SPONSORSHIP

Set up now and there is a donation thread, these donations will be again spread out throughout various tier comps and main event comps, again so all have a chance to win something. This has only been created today and has already had donations on it. Director Inglefield will be overseeing this.

Friendly club this, and i am so happy to see these sponsorships coming in.

Contact me if wish to join or simply apply via our website, link on first post of this advert

As per above, the sponsor page is filling up really well and i have created the 1st credit tourny for TMs and below.

Few good folk have joined us recently and introduced themelves to the SEL masses. Including 2 top players who have joined from a great club that has unfortunately closed.

Please, must be pro or above, thats to show the game is not just a passing phase.

Please read first post of our advert for how to join and certainly contact me if wish to ask any questions before joining if you wish.

If you want a very organised, friendly active club then SEL is for you. As well as our 3 week, 5 division leagues we have 2 events where everything you play, earns points. Just like the real world. Below are screnshots of two tops of leaderboards with all 130 members on there....

Plus a very active single and alt shot group, always on our Shoutbox arranging games.

If inter cc games are for you then we have a squad of 36 players.

There ain't a better bloke out there than Bubbs...he's covered my six a few times now, and I don't even belong to his CC. He does it discreetly, and I'm sure he has done the same for others. He's a fine man...period. His honesty and fairness leaves no doubt that he runs an excellent CC.

Yes i like the fact that there are not red tee, easy tourneys here, in the long run this helps you become a stronger player for tough competitions.
