  Please read our first thread on this advert and all other threads prior to this have helpful info regarding what we have going on in our club.

  Our Last Man Standing, where nearly 40 members started the competition has reached the final, with 2 destinguished members battling it out this coming week. Again theres 3 sleeves put up for prizes ....Then it starts again, so no better time to come and join us.

  Our league has the final week next week also, with 7 league games still to to play. Relegation and promotion from our 4 divisions will be sorted out, along with the incorporation of our recent 27 new recruits from our feeder league.....then we go again

  We cap club around 130 members, so with the influx of 27 new folk recently then we will only be recruiting active members to possibly replace some inactive ones.

  Then we go again next week with the next 3 week league and cups.

  As usual all played events go toward Order of Merit tables and SEL Rankings

  Come join us if its activity and a very well ran club you are after

  I'm a firm believer that pole dancing and wanton orgies would be a great recruiting activity for any CC..but I'm then reminded those clubs already exist, and I don't think many of the participants golf...(:

  On a serious note, Bubbs is a good bloke..I take his word as gospel and he has the reputation in many circles (including mine) of being an excellent CC owner.

  We have had 31 new members join since the turn of the year, from Champs down to Pros. As activity is paramount in our club, then a few have been released, keeping our numbers around 130.

  We have only 6 members out of 128 who have not played since before February 16, and those members are taking time out from the game for various reasons.

  Only playing 3 club events per month is stipulated, but all members in club play a lot more than that, as the choice is so varied (as per my other posts on this advert).

  Some fine additions to our club recently as mentioned above.

  Then this past week we have had an owner, directors and some players join us from a top level club that was well respected in the game,  that unfortunately folded. We welcomed them, and i can report they are very happy to have joined us, after all it could not have been an easy transition for them.

  There`s also invites out to the ex long term owner and some top quality members who have been taking time out of the game , from the same club.

  We are close to level 17, and apart from at present, this has been achieved with less than 130 members. Which is fewer than all higher level clubs than us. That alone shows the activity in this great club.

  Friendly and active..........thats us.

  Please i do not just "bump", so all threads above have top information for you to peruse before making your decision.

  if you like your golf game tough and fair then SEL is the club for you,always plenty going on and also a very healthy cc/cc interest and a very high turnout in club comps,

  THATS WHAT MAKES A CLUB....OUR CLUB STAND OUT FROM OTHER CLUBS

  As a member of this club I must say this club is amazing! Always plenty of tournaments on the go and some amazing players to challenge yourself against.

  Plenty of generous players putting up prizes for various tournaments and the participation from members is amazing.

  Also no boring red tee tournaments plenty of variety in all of the courses from the back tees to help improve your game.

  So come on guys this is the club for you.

  I have been in a few country clubs and as Wisha wrote the participation here is AMAZING.

  I would never have dreamed that a country club could be so GREAT.

  Fantastic friendly helpful folks and GOOD golfers...

  I feel I am privileged to be able to be a member in this club..

  Some top players have recently joined us from English Lakes, which unfortunately closed down. Along with some other top Champs and TLs from a couple of other clubs.

  We have also had an influx of lower tier players who are finding competing from our default tees has improved their game.

  Level 17 club and although XPs not the all important be all and end all, it still shows the great activity in our club.

  We have approx 130 members, which is less members than all clubs level 17 and above, so shows the great activity from our fantastic members .

  As well as all other posts previous to this, i do not just bump, but give you more info to digest, which will help you make a decision whether to join or not.

  Statts from 2 members

  Affo........He creates stats for every single tourny a member plays within our club comps

  • Best 9 hole score on every course
  • Best 18 hole score on every course
  • Head to Head performance in Matchplay
  • Top performers in sand saves, FIR, GIR etc etc
  • And more

  Sambige.......He creates stats for all WGT weeklies, mothlies,wtc etc

  • 9 hole weekly top 10, 50 ,100 finishes
  • 18 hole weekly top 10, 50, 100 finishes
  • Multi round top 10. 50, 100 finishes
  • Virtual Tour performances
  • Hole in Ones
  • And much much more

  These stats are on our website and make a great read, showing all members how one and other are performing.........and i thank them for their great work
