I have high hopes and best wishes for this merger. Although WGT has been a frustrating experience at times, when playing day to day, I must admit that I've gotten my money's worth out of this game and I still find it engaging. I hope it continues on. But I'll find something else if it doesn't.
I do hope the PC format still remains on their agenda, since playing simulated golf (or war or poker or pool or bowling) on a screen the size of a 3 x 5 index card is a taste that I'm too stupid to acquire.
I sympathize a bit with the folks who are frustrated with the constant bugs, but there's no denying that WGT is listening a little better. I'm not sure I have the right to demand a response from any CEO of any company, unless I'm sitting on that company's board, or unless I'm being very delusional with how important my needs from a virtual golf game must be.
IMHO, there may be some players here who are people that will never be satisfied with anything anyway ... except the right to complain. Take my boss, for example.
