  Well that's all great and good I suppose. It would be nice however if you'd fix the inconsistencies in this game,(clubs, wind, the so called"vem"), increase ball life, before adding the latest and greatest. Been playing over 4 years and some of these problems have never changed.  So forgive me if I'm not excited over TopGolf.

  I believe they meant Wolf Creek.  But I am not opposed to making it right and adding Shadow Creek at some point.

  Ahhhhh shoe, i thought there was an announcement due for us........after my Las Vegas comment earlier, as there is a Shadow Creek there...come on now lets spill the beans ;-)

  What my layman's way of thinking is, you have an APP on your mobile device that interfaces with TG's in-house digital system. You load the course like you were going to play and then the interface shows you where you have to hit the ball on their range. Results are translated on your mobile device and you see your shot happen in the game on your mobile device!

  Sound very much like how Skytrack operates now.

  Congratulations WGT on a smart move.   The way I see it, TopGolf wants our HD golf courses.    I imagine TG will be installing those machines where a person uses real golf clubs and hits a ball into a video screen.    A player gets to choose which golf course they would like to play.    Our courses are the best there can be.    I'm an old timer here and WGT is on my bucket list every day.   So, lets maintain the core WGT and move forward.

  Read another report where its stipulated WGT has 14 million users, hope topgolf realise a large chunk of those are level 1 hacks who aint played since doomsday. Unless thats factored in.

  But still im sure both companies will have sat with each others turnover sheets.

  Topgolf are sure to have one or two members signed up and reading these comments as we type..........Hail topgolf, you are the greatest

  Maybe, maybe not. I wasn't waiting and through the contact option on their website, I sent them a request to stop by here. LOL, not quite that way but I got an auto-response. The first statement about franchising was pretty illuminating. :-)

  YOU WILL EAT YOUR WORDS   i guarantee it   this site only caters to a select few & don't forget it.....all programmed   if a cd was available  then i would pay $500 for it & shoot in the 40's with NO glitches no wgt errors etc etc  a cd does NOT cater to cheaters   & how many multi account users are still on here & get away with it   just blows me away  new owners or joint ., what the hell's the diff ., watch where the $$$ goes    i know if i was an owner., & had the ONLY best site for golf, i would charge  DOUBLE for everything & see who really quits  ....only the serious ones will remain., & fill their pockets...just remember, WGT etc has NO competition.,  enough said.,AL.

  Just to answer a few questions.  A Topgolf leader has already spoken to you all and can answer questions.  His name is MisterWGT.  This is not a typical merger since the WGT leadership still remains in place and in fact is empowered to continue to make all the calls with access to more resources. MisterWGT speaks for Topgolf.

  Secondarily, you are all correct that in the last year the resources available to WGT for investing in the product has been limited.  It is not that we did not care to fix things or make the product better, but we had to prioritize due to limited resources.  With Topgolf we have a new commitment to invest in Web and Mobile golf.  Instead of trying to convince you with words, we rather show you with actions in the future.  Nothing happens instantly, and you will see Topgolf driving ranges in WGT products, but you should also see a gradual and determined march towards improved stability and less defects.  

  As for shot consistency, the meter should get better, but the end result of the shot may not be what you want.  This is a game design choice to best reflect what happens in the real world on a golf course.  Skill will always dictate the vast majority of your shots, but due to the shear number of variables, taken into the shot calculation, if you miss even one of them, the result may not be what you expect. This is not meant to cheat or deceive the player, but instead to challenge the player to take everything into consideration.
