  GOGC Jets vs Wooden Tee

  mike wins 1up on 3rd hole of extras

  had a great time playing with a fine gentleman, Lonnie. WGT was wreaking havoc with his approaches, but man could that guy putt. It really was fun to watch, I was thrilled to complete 9 holes and be even. But after him winning 10,11 and 15 I was in serious trouble. His drive on 16 got hijacked by WGT and i was able to steal that hole. Lightening struck twice and I won 17, so with the cc on 18, we were off to extras. I finally got real lucky with a tight approach on the 3 hole of OT and  managed to make the bird to win.

  Lonnie was the most composed of anyone I have ever played on here, in the face of some weird happenings during our round, Lord knows i was getting frustrated. He kept his focus and just kept draining putts from everywhere. He really deserved this win, as I was not in his level of play at all. Just a lucky night for me, Thanks for the round Lonnie, strange as it was

  What a great match!  Joe you are a great player and I enjoyed it immensely.  If anyone wants a breakdown, Joe started slow and I was 3up after 5.  I drove sand on 6, got out, up and down for par but Joe was having none of it,  He birdied 6 to go 2 down, eagled 7 to go 1 down got conceded 8 per hdcp to go AS and birdied 9 to get to the turn 1up.  We traded some holes and then a birdie on 17 got him 1up with 18 conceded to win 2up.  His command of the par 3's was the difference in the end.  Great match and great playing Joe.

  Won my match against Graham today 6 up, think he was a bit distracted with his grand daughter on his lap while playing our match, Graham tell her the check is in the mail.

  it was a very close game where I just had a bit more luck with the putter

  Eros vs Eagle Club

  Just played azstone, and got off to a solid start to be 2up after 3. Thats where the joy ended. Jeff managed to find a putter straight out of a blast furnace and proceeded to use it like a magic wand.

  I hung in there as best i could but Jeff got it done 4 & 3. An awesome display indeed. Good luck to the remaining Quarter finalists in their matches.

  Pete started off great and was 2 up after 3, but then struggled with the meter the rest of the match. Unlucky for him because he started off on fire and probably wins this.
