On the 60 second issue, you can change it to 90 in the game setup.

Why should players always have to adapt to WGT whims?  Work-around after work-around!

Its not a work around.. Its an option. There are a lot of people who would like to play 60s, some 45s and few more 30s.. Didn't need changing particularly but don't understand the moaning about changing it back...

End of game time cutoff is bit of joke really, unintentional i might add.. Especially if u make an unexpected shot and boom ,game over.

I can tell that I'm the minority on this one.  I play 30 second shot clock (plenty of time) and wouldn't mind if WGT came up with 15.

I guess that I'm just paranoid about the rampant cheating out there, and people who need a slide ruler, compass, sextant, protractor, etc. to make an approach.

    @ Mike,

Again it's the social aspect that suffers. My time outs have all occurred when I'm engaged in chat. There is simply not enough time to type in chat, factor distance, wind, and elevation, check reverse view, set aim marker, reset forward view and take your shot. So, you eliminate or minimize chat, which may be fine if you're anti social, but, that's contrary to what a lot of us have come to expect from our playing experience here. I stand by what I said . " The game was more enjoyable, and therefore better before these changes were made". Whether they were made deliberately, or whether they are the result of a bug, doesn't really matter. Again, If WGT is at all interested in offering a quality virtual golf experience, These changes to the game should be undone.

    Doc :)

This is not helped by the chat box focus issue.

Has anyone tried Windows Speech Recognition to see if it works with WGT's chat box? (I guess the focus issue might screw that up too, although dictating is much faster than typing so it might be okay).

But of course, all this is meaningless if they don't fix the MP disconnection problem. Let's spell it out for them again. Top to bottom in order of importance to us, the players, who help keep this ship afloat. Have at 'em fellers, an' ladies. Yep, it's all been said before, but, when the captain is wandering aimlessly, and the first mate is not paying attention, and all the deck hands are off somewhere on a rum binge, methinks  a reasonable voice should speak out, before we all jump ship.

    make that 2 :)

i never say a word to slower players who probably like to chat and sorts (no offence intended ) but im all for a fast game...

not meaning to highjack the OP but just a thought ... i wonder why WGT cant come up with matches for speed players

EG)..4 players players shoot a 30 in a RG and the one with the quickest clock wins..itll be a fast turnaround for wgt meaning more $$$.

probably be a nightmare to sort out clocks for every scorecard i guess...

I'm average player, i play very  very quick too, lightning  fast lol but michael stroke, you know the best of wgt play fast too.

I'm not naive, i'm sure  some cheat, but i have confidence that  a large majority don't cheat

Hope you all understand, my english is like master yoda sometime

I've brought up an idea for timed shot tournaments to WGT where it's similar to match/AS (warning first time, then added strokes 2nd time and beyond). I got the generic "we'll look into it" response.

I don't do tournies, but if they had ones with a quick shot clock, I'd definitely do those.

I third the motion! And fix the chat.

Odd how the social aspect of this game keeps taking hits and making it harder to be social.  :-(

On behalf of WGT and their fine business model, can I interest anyone in the L5 King Cobra driver?....brand new to the pro shop and only $3.

ps...sorry about the reduced social aspect and poor playability of the game... limited financial resources force us to "prioritize".  On an up note, our sage moderators will be available to advise you on how to work around, or turn off, the unending "upgrades" nobody seems to want...:)

    sincerely, WGT//Top Golf
