  I fully understand Mike...you are all about the game and I certainly have no problem with that.  Also,some folks aren't chatty by nature, or use other venues (like this one) to speak at length. What I don't understand, is why someone would join an alternate game and say absolutely nothing...not even say Hi or acknowledge good shots...basic etiquette stuff.  Alternate has no bearing on average and most games are played with nothing on the line...I think (and I've played over 6600 games of it) that it is designed to be a venue to chat, meet new people, yuk it up with friends...with the actual game being nothing more than a backdrop. That's why a 90 sec clock is better for Alt. People who are anti-social should stay out of these games and stick to solo stroke or MP. It would be better for everyone, IMHO.

  Not new to the pro shop, just a name change (like hex chrome to soft) :P

  I'd think more time would be more pertinent to MP stroke games rather than alt shots. Quite simply because you wont have back to back shots in alt shots anyway, so ample opportunity when you are out of turn.Alt shots are pretty much to relax,so you can lock and load simply. So even if i have to type on my turn i'd still have like 25s to chat in 45s game.

  I find the cursor going out of the chat after every load to be a much more annoying problem. Add to the fact u can't click on any of the players or u'll get end of game msg, and the random unexpected errors...

  All good and reasonable points raised, my friends, but, once again, all meaningless if the MP game disconnection issue isn't addressed. Please list your negatives in order of importance. Not that anyone will listen, just so once more we can point out that they don't.This is dead serious, the game is turning into a giant crap heap, revenue is being lost, the financial viability of this game we all love so much ( even with Top Golfs' involvement ) is at stake. We, the players, need a stable platform on which to play, or they might as well shitcan the whole mess.

  Agree 100% on the end of game chat.  Please let us keep chatting as long as we want and have an End game button for when we're finished.

  It's nice to be able to chat about where to play the next game and who can and can't make it.

  As long as we're wishing, I'll throw a list out there, feel free to add or edit.

  1. Fix the MP disconnection issues .

  2. Bring back end of game chat.

  3. Reset default timer to 90 sec.

  If you know how to do it, it's not hard at all. Swing when it's your turn, chat when it's theirs. Also helps if you type fast. If you type with 1-2 fingers, there's not much you can do. If you type reasonably fast, you can easily have a full convo.

   Really ? Mike, with out trying to sound curt here, that's BS. Been here since  May 2011. Loved the game then. Every friggin' update since then has caused nothin' but chit. Please, let's not try to sugar coat it, it desperately needs fixin'.

  Maybe you quoted the wrong post Doc, but Mike is only talking about chatting style rather than state of the game here..

  Okay,  a few cocktails past the point of no return , lol. But, my original point was about bringing the end of game chat back, which has nothing to do with chatting "style", and everything to do with WGT continually making the game less enjoyable.

  Maybe this is TopGolf's opportunity to step up and have them program in one of their lounges so all players can go to. Like a virtual reality and they can even do the background laughter and such, sexy avatars serving drinks and all. I'd even use my club pass to go there.
