    VegasWade:
I've not had ONE disconnect in any game I've played. You know why?

Yep, it's because you don't play Alt Shot or Match Play games!

    VegasWade:
I have a computer with enough RAM to handle the load, clean Internet cache daily, update with the latest JAVA, Adobe, etc.

If you really knew about that stuff, you'd know the game does not use JAVA.  In fact, JAVA is de-activated in my browsers as it is vulnerable.

    VegasWade:
Half of the whiners here are probably still running Windows XP or Vista.

Again, if you really knew about stuff you'd know this game actually runs better on Windows XP.

Whatever it is, VW's against it...

I'm really only wanting to see more positive posts around here and less complaining about WGT. They're doing their best.

I'm adding you as a friend. Let's golf sometime.

Wade, I know I've given you a hard time but you're a good sport for sending the friend invite, which I've gladly accepted.

Have to tell you that I haven't played alt or MP for quite a while because of the disconnect issues but will look for you when you're on and will gladly give it a go.

I'm just pitching in to say my bit. I have no intention of getting into any sort of childish exchange of words with anyone here.

I was one of the people that complained to wgt over the flashing text images, not because I didn't like them but because they were causing me genuine problems. I had some rather complicated eye surgery a few months back following permanent retinal scarring to my left eye and a long standing problem to my right eye.

Since my operation I have struggled with bright lights and I am still unable to go outdoors on a bright day without sunglasses. I have also suffered from severe migraines for many years and these have aggravated my photophobia. I can assure you that it is a very painful condition and however innocuous some people found the flashing text it was causing me severe pain, hence my complaint.

What I do object to more than anything is being referred to as handicapped, that is totally out of order. Yes I may feel a tw@t sometimes walking around in shades when it's raining and I guess there's some people shallow enough to judge me for that. It also seems that anyone who has posted their displeasure with the flashing text has been labelled a forum terrorist and a whiner by some people.

I really don't get this forum sometimes, it seems whatever someone posts there is someone else waiting to jump all over it. Just remember folks, some of us have real life problems and i'll tell you something, I wouldn't wish mine on anyone. If you're lucky enough to have perfect eyes I consider you to be very fortunate

Couldn't agree more with you pip, I myself suffer from migraines and have done since i was 12 (many moons ago). Whilst the flashing didn't trigger one for me, i can sympathise with people who it did.

Labeling someone with an opinion and a condition as handicapped...well i thought those kind of people only lived on facebook...
