Beware of trying to help others in this game, by gifting equipment. A good friend of mine who does nothing but try to help others had his account suspended for 6 weeks, because WGT thinks he is selling equipment.

WGT needs to be working on fixing the game mess ups, and improving the performance of the game rather than attacking innocent people.

Is this one of the new improvements since the  buy out by Top Golf, because as of today I have yet to see any improvements to the game.

So once again, just be aware that by helping others in this game you could be putting yourself in jeopardy.

I have been out of the loop for awhile.

    How would one 'sell equipment'?

As far as I know there are some people who will gift equipment to others in return for real life money.   I don't honestly know exactly how this happens, I assume PayPal transfer or similar.  Why the buyer wouldn't just use PayPal to buy credits is another matter though.  Maybe some sellers offer better rates than you normally get.

What's happened here is a real shame though, has anyone contacted CS to say it's a mistake and the guy is innocent?

It amazes me the lengths a golf site.

Apparently it is enough of a problem that they are watching for it though.

Money is being spent in their pro shop. Why would wgt care what is done with the purchases? ..very odd.

Edit: I play MP games exclusively, and with nothing on the line. After reading the opinions in this thread, I realize how naive I am about some aspects. I also gift sleeves of balls or clubs to those in need...never gave it much thought. This thread is an eye opener.

Must be lots who multi their way to a handsome amount of credits, and then sell them for real money buy gifting clubs. Remember credits are money really and if you have a set of clubs for 4000 creds then you pay 40 dollars for them or give 30 dollars to a multi and he gets them for you.

Ive gifted clubs, not lots of times but a few times.

12 days of Santa folk...........grinch up or your outa here ;-)

    Bubbs

EDIT. P.S Not just multis of course but there will be folk who win an awful lot and have no more use for any more credits, as equipment maxed out.

Probably from winning RGs and having an abundance of credits which to them would be considered as free since they didnt pay for them . So if they charge a player to gift them better clubs at a fraction of the cost then that would be the get over .

There is also the issue of multi accounting as well and the gifting that goes with it as players restart over and over again . The only problem with this game is that we really dont know the full integrity of anyone who plays this game . We like to think that we do but thruth be told we can never say what the next person will or wont do .

A $250 amazon gift card costs 165,000 credits, the legitimate way the winners get money out of the game. 165,000 credits would cost  $1,650 to buy.  So instead of cashing them in at that rate some may buy equipment for others, and get in return say half the usual price in cash, and still make a tidy profit compared compared to what wgt give.

I don't know who the op is referring to but I reckon some credit winners play a bit of alt shot and gift clubs as well as balls afterwards, it may be wgt view this with suspicion. Six weeks seems a bit odd, if they have proof then it would surely be a more severe punishment and if not..........  Perhaps someone receiving a "gift" has since fallen out with the sender and told wgt they paid (screenshots maybe?), the only way I can see proof coming.  Or someone who was offered and refused.
