9th Hole at Hilversumsche

  Love the 53 ft putt for the CTTP at the 9th hole at Hilversumsche ... like a downhill roller coaster ... at least I got within 15 feet!

  This was here in about a year or so ago but only for a short time and then they removed it. Hopefully it's here for good now.

  Its a double break putt. If you get the speed right, its a ding putt. I made it a few times the last time Hilversumsche was playable.

  Maybe you guys are overthinking it. The very first time this putt appeared (last year), I figured, as per usual, if it runs hither and yon, just try it straight and see what happens. Straight, it almost goes in. It curls around the hole just a little to the short side or the long side according to how hard you hit it. Granted, I have never sunk that putt, but if it is always 2 - 4 feet in a CTTH score it is negligible compared to 0 for holing the sucker.

  But in the unlikely event I ever do hole that putt, it will definitely be posted to one of Yancy's paranormal pages.

  Not one of mine Yancy but a very nice fellow at my CC dropped one in just recently. Goes by the name of Dennis and he may well be one of your common men - in the best possible sense of course!
