On St Andrews first hole, i was 51 yards from pin which was on the hill, 25 mph tailwind, i hit my wedge, only for the ball to miraculously hit the flagstick near the middle, it hit with so much force, the ball rolled backwards and straight into burn, but now comes the best bit, fearing i'd lost a new Callaway, i got a message after ball went in.."imovable object-free drop"..I didn't even loose a ball....STRANGE!!!!

Ya, I had the same type of thing yesterday but the wind was left to right and I sent the ball into the burn on the right side of the fairway. It went in and bounced around on the bottom, stopped and gave me the same message. I had to replay it several times to confirm that the ball actually did go into the hazard. It did without question which normally sends us right back to the tee box. A little confusing, but I'll take that any day over losing a ball plus a stoke. Keep up the good work WGT. Now how about the same thing on Kawai #17?

Thanks for the heads-up nanstar on chrisironbones and his unusuables all up on that St. Andrews #1 hole and such.

Chris - Did you see any unusual bright lights or anything of the hypnonotics? That will help a common man triangulate exactly whats the possibles in this arena area of the 'burn'. I have texted Medford Mel and he is setting up the BETA equipment and test programs as I write this.

Hoping you can help us all find the answers we so desperately seek and the para-normable possibilities of our curiosins'

Sincerely, Yancy - The Common Man Country Club
