Get rid of this  rediculous  option  ...........  there's no  concede  putt  of any other type shot in stroke play  .....  if  competing  against others  it seems completely  ludidrous that  this option is available  .... The idea  was  i'm sure with good intentions  , howevver very few people  are aware of the proper etiquette  while using this option. Also it causes more problems  than it's good for . I't   locks people to the game  even if its not their shot .  So  no getting up  to get a beverage or  for any other reason,  cuz god forbid you miss conceding  a putt  ...  people go crazy  ............

It's not right  GET RID  of it ........ all in favour say  I

Why should WGT get rid of something that is a part of match play in real golf?? This is not something that WGT just added to match play on here but actually a part of strategy of match play. As the great Sam Snead once said "concede any putt at the start of a match but at crunch time concede nothing".

I don't go by distance.  I go by ease.  I'll probably concede a perfectly flat 4 foot putt and I might make you putt a 3 footer that's downhill with a nasty break.

Conceding is a reciprocal.  If you make me putt what I think is a gimme, be prepared to take every putt you're given, even if it's 4 inches.

Then prepare for mockery when I beat you.

    it's a feel thing.

cc when you want to , it's not a rule.

Correct.  It's no requirement, but it does make the game go faster (a little).  Also it's simple courtesy.  If you don't show courtesy, then you get a huge dose of "not courtesy" in return.

Exactly how does one prepare oneself for mockery?

    They miss 4 footers.

Ah yes...the 'ol "miss a 4 footer and get mocked" scenario. I remember it well.:)

Even worse if using the 400K gold putter !

It is indeed part of the game in matchplay. Can be used for strategic purposes if you are nefarious of mind. Not that anyone here is that way inclined, that would go without saying. Removing "Gimme's" from matchplay is just not to even be considered an option.
