    Mr. crosshair22

Although this is a public forum and you can vent or whatever , The truth of the matter is there is a very good chance you will be insulted , Belittled , Bashed , ETC .

All within the guidelines of course .

I'm sure someone will bash me for this but I don't care !  Bash away ..

    Crosshair22:
I said "this game" not real golf. I do play real golf though, and my frustration is with my play, not  the course.

This is exactly what makes this game real. You could read that part of your statement and wonder "is he talking about the real game or this game?"

The reason someone thought you might be a gamer is because of your expectations here. You can't add 2 + 2 and expect 4 to be the answer, there's too many variables involved. Expecting 4 and not getting it leads to the frustration.

The absolute best thing you can do for your particular game is to take your earned IRL golf smarts and apply them here. Play this game the same way you would IRL. I suspect you probably know just how to hit your real irons and what to expect (bit of honesty required here.) Can you say that about your virtual clubs? If you can, you're in a good place and just need to golf smarter. If you can't, learn.

That's where the satisfaction comes from-knowing your game and executing it. This game replicates RL golf with programmed deviations from perfect-some in the equipment, some in the game. It doesn't kill the game, it just makes it quite realistic because you see the same thing here you see IRL, frustration included. :-)

Hmm...I've re-read the thread, and I don't find any post that rises to the level of bullying you've described. Can you provide an example for my clarification?.

I have read similar cautions in a few threads, and have posed the same question. I've yet to receive an answer; though I am sometimes assailed for asking it...lol

If you have no legitimate examples, I would politely advise that you follow the same guidance provided to TJune.

That's my point. I don't see occurring what you claim. People are generally treated as they treat others...I don't know of posts arbitrarily bashing, or belittling, or bullying someone for posing a question or a concern.

You stated that was a high probability, and all I did was ask for an example...just one...so I could understand where your assertions are originating from.

    nice dodge though...lol

Another typical smart ass reply from a wgt troll...

Sir, to whom are you directing this ^^^?..if it is to me, then can you please elaborate on what in my reply you consider to be "smart ass" ?..and if you know it to be "typical", aren't you also a wgt troll?

If you prefer to quietly troll and occasionally pop in with your "contributions",  then please carry on.:)

OK. First of all, I wasn't referring to my game play. Second, I wish you guys would stay on subject. I was talking about delays in game and being disconnected. Also being subjected to random disconnects and then having to watch yet another commercial. I can live with wind that's not there and distance that doesn't relate, but the other stuff is not something I enjoy having to put up with. I am certainly not alone feeling this way because of chats that I encounter while playing. End of story>

I copied the enclosed from one of Lonnie's posts, as he has the correct attitude (IMO).

"In spite of the issues I still play and have fun and enjoy the game. So there are work arounds to handle some issues with the game and there are players here who are very willing to help . There are already many threads to advise on how to get the most or best results out of your pc to play this game."

I have also stated in similar threads that your frustrations are not unique, But this has been tilled ground for a long time. If your post was to vent, then by all means...if it was intended to get wgt to effect repairs to some of the long standing glitches, then don't hold your breath.

    hit em str8,

Ok I Have read many threads that insult people , I will give you one example .

Someone , I forgot who ,  told Henry Kawa that he wished he was in the car with his dad when he died ,  If that is not  messed up, and don't know what is ?

There is your one example ,  There are dozens more .

Perhaps this was not an insult , What was it ?

Agreed...and completely uncalled for. I was not countering that it never happens...I personally have been ambushed a few times. I have no idea why some people feel obligated to hijack someone's thread simply to hurl childish insults (that's what profile walls are for...lol)

But, given the many posts in this forum, bullying is not a common occurrence and people should not be afraid. In the case you cite, Henry's shtick is to get a rise out of people by making outrageous statements. Sometimes, a reaction turns into an over-reaction. Nobody deserves berating, but his M.O. is quite different than someone posting a question or concern.

    Anyway, life goes on.

    cheers,

    ct
