May he now float like a butterfly.

Fought much tougher battles the last twenty years than he ever did in the ring.

    RIP

I am not old enough to remember his actual stinging like a bee and floating like a butterfly fights.  That's a part that stands out, to me, for my dad talking about it :)

His epic Rumble in the Jungle is forever etched in my mind.  Arguably the greatest fight of all time, and at a time when it was FIFA World Cup huge.  Way I remember it anyway :)

A huge part of those times and beyond.

    RIP.

    R.I.P "The Greatest"

Not just boxing, but the world has lost an iconic figure.

"I done wrestled with an alligator, I done tussled with a whale; handcuffed lightning, thrown thunder in jail; only last week, I murdered a rock, injured a stone, hospitalised a brick; I'm so mean I make medicine sick."

Muhammad Ali in his own words.

Such a sad loss, one of the greatest personalities ever, not to mention one hell of a boxer.

    R.I.P. big guy.

An iconic figure...I'm nine years younger, remember well his rise from Olympic boxer to heavyweight champ, the way he revolutionized the sport, his mastery of media, his struggle of conscience for which he paid with a fine and a three year ban from boxing, and how his success and charm made him loved worldwide.

    The Greatest indeed.

It's amazing what he achieved because somebody stole his bike. Although I'm not a fan of boxing, he was a talented sportsman with a personality to match.

    R.I.P Muhammad Ali.
