Thank you Frapp :)  I tell Daddy all the time how much I love him and will do so in person on Sunday.

Anything but a tie.  I vote for a big fat streak.  A few years ago my cat gave me a bacon wallet for fathers day.  Love it!!!

Or brunch fixed on the grill??  Bacon, (of course the main food group) french toast, scrambled eggs. But we have a cast aluminum griddle. And wash it all down with a mug of bacon.  Might as well go whole hog!!!!

    Hi Fireman,

Outside is always good as he likes the outdoors but we golf together at least quarterly.....

Hi Beryman, a giant cookie may not make it into his hands, at least not without a corner missing - lol

I agree with Dan, Wiger and Frapp - the best present is a heartfelt message in a card or verbally.

A lot of guys are like me, if I want something, I get it, so present buying is hard. Unless you can afford that new truck or boat (and if so can I be your second dad?). But I am sure your dad will appreciate anything you get.

My kids always used to but me outrageous ties or cufflinks - and I still wear them. I may not be batman....but I have the cufflinks and tie lol....

Is there some activity that he used to do, but doesn't seem to have the time for anymore? I'm thinking bowling or shooting a little pool. Pick up the lunch and beer tab for something like that.

Time with is the most memorable gift my son ever gave me. That happened to be 18 holes at the local muni. His most memorable gift from me was for his 16th. We rafted Gauley during the let down. If you don't know what that is.

    Gauley

    Intense fun.
