Just to add to what Robert wrote...
Talking about the greediness of a game company, I've seen worse. Trust me!
The main reason why I started playing WGT, a non-Korean game is because all the games those Korean companies are making and releasing nowadays are basically nothing but lottery machines regardless of the genre. Everything is random! For instance, if you want a certain item, you can't buy it directly but keep on drawing lots until you get it. In other words, for something worth $50, you end up spending $500-$1,000 if you're lucky. (And still there's no guarantee you will get what you want though. How crazy is that, eh?) At one point, I just got sick and tired of all that. It's like they're saying "You suckers, buy items over and over to beat others. If you don't like it, beat it." So I did!
Here in WGT, you still have to buy some balls and equipment if you wanna play somewhat serious. The biggest difference, however, is that WGT at least gives you a choice: you either pay or watch videos to get credits. Although I didn't have to, I've spent $100 so far because I understand this game is a business too and I want it to be around as long as possible. I'm getting all I want mostly from watching videos, but still I plan to spend some cash once in a while in future as well.
And as for customer service, it's weird you haven't received a response from WGT sometimes. Every time I inquire something, they always reply. I know Live Gamer doesn't, but WGT does.
