It's funny that you'll pretty much never meet the people you chat with each day online but they still become good friends.

why not? lots of your members live in UK so why not organize the real meeting? In this case your CC would be next "19" hole :-)

Hence the 'pretty much'.  A few of our guys have met up.  Of the back of this I'll throw it out there again.  I wonder if our Hawaii based member is up for hosting :)

I have a small CC on the books ,

But I also belong to a much larger CC called the Community .

And room and time for both . With an open mind .

Those who have not experienced the workings a good CC . May not appreciate the effects of a well oiled machine running on all cylinders .

It's a beautiful thing . I too cheer all those that do . And all the CC's .

Running on all cylinders Paul?....Dang I must need a tune up lol. Seriously, congrats and well done to all the owners :)

The biggest tragedy is that WGT doesn't appreciate CCs as much as they really should do.As P TRENTER  spoke of .

As a long time country club owner I have wasted a lot of money on this game .I have taken time away from my own family to help others in my club .

That is what a club owner should do ?

Club Owners are the ones that do the real work for WGT and we should be able to gift (FREE OF CHARGE) low level clubs /balls to new members of our club that we think will continue in our club or WGT.

I Thank you for agreeing with me PLB1 .But I have a hard time understanding why any club owner would think about cost effectiveness for W.G.T  .There is no loss of money to W.G.T

They don't spend money on making making better balls or clubs .Why spend money on something you cant hold in your own hand ? There is no limit to what they can give ,for it all cost the same for them .

We as players enjoy this game and understand how much work was involved in its constant upgrades over the years and we do understand the cost of that process

We as club owners ,Play in the field with many players and some of us let them join our Country Clubs so they may enjoy this game and stay in it. Many of us have used our own money to help members move up in tier just to keep them in this game .

County Club Owners need a little more out of W.G.T to help them with this game !

I run a CC, we are only small and find it hard to attract members at times.  I have a great director to help me (Joh).  The members are all wonderful but it is trying to keep the interest going.

One member asked me one day, why I can't approach WGT for a donation of balls etc for prizes instead of me paying out all the time.  My response was I don't think they would.

Well, I am going to throw this idea in the pot.

CC members are using CC passes and also buying them with their own credit which is generating alot of XP points for CC's and dollars for WGT.

Why can't we have an allocation of these XP points to be used by owners, for items from the Pro Shop, to gift as prizes to members who win their comps.  It would save alot of money for CC owners.

The downside to this idea is that if you use the XP points enough your CC will probably go down in levels.

The reason for this suggestion is, I can only see the XP points going up and can't see the relevance of them if they cannot be used for anything other than high usage of CC passes and status.

    Anyway that's it.

    Snap at SEL.

Members use their free pass...but are encouraged not to buy any extra passes, what's the point!
