I got promoted to TM on sunday after a gd round @ oakmont F9 and hole in one @ Oak 8 but i seem to be struggling with the green speeds, its almost like that there are 2 different "tourament" green speeds some rounds i play the greens seem like sheets of ice yet later on they seem alot slower and i ahve found that putting on these is impossible as you just never know what your going to get as they both say tourament greens. or is it just me and im going mad?????

    You aren't going mad, Jessica.

TM greens and Legend greens are different.  Legend greens are like ice rinks, whereas TM are what I consider the most desirable on this game.

There is a mathematical formula to help you with this.  Message me and I will tell you more.

What's to tell? The Legend greens are 10% faster than TMs. It's especially noticeable in the way the down hill roll acts. The real problem is figuring out which one you are on.

I don't think this is a TM thing B&C. Tournament greens have been playing inconsistently on RGs for a while now. And I am still, for now, a Master.

It usually takes a hole or two to figure out which one you are on.  Easy to adjust to after that.

    GL and welcome to TM

Legend Greens and TM greens are exactly the same and I think im a fair judge in that because I have recently moved from TM to Legend. Tournament greens are tournament greens whether your a Legend or a TM they are the same speed. They do take a bit of getting used but you will eventually get the hang of it.

No they aren't. If they are the same what are you getting used to?

YankeeJim You are a Tour Master so how would you know how the Ledgend greens play? I went from Tour master to Legend 2 days ago and haven't had to adjust to the greens in the slightest. They are exatly the same that post may say they are different but trust me they are the same if there is a difference its so small that you don't even notice it anyway.

YJ being a tour master doesn't mean he has not putted the legend speed greens. But heck, 2 days as a legend, surely you've seen everything it has to offer. Don't worry, when you find yourself on the legend greens and start hitting your putts 8ft past the hole, just remember, "The difference is so small you don't even notice it"
