So, I have struggled for months to get promoted to Master. I made it last week and to my dismay, I still can play only Bethpage, Kiawah Island, St. Andrews and Oakmont, during stroke play at least. I was certain getting promoted would open up many of the greyed out courses. Come on WGT, what's up with that? A promotion should provide some rewards.

We do not have any locked courses. I heard this from few people recently. Is someone spreading this nonsense?

He probably just saw the announcement on "September 25, 2010" that stated that Congressional would be here in 45-90 days.

You have obviously played most, if not all of the CTTH courses, and you didn't know thats all they were? Duh!

I am just browsing this thread because I wanted to know how to "ungrey" Pebble Beach, Wolf Creek  and  others.

If there is no way to unlock them, just because they are still GUR, a mouse-over message on the stroke play selection screen, or elsewhere but visible,  would be welcome.

They are greyed out because some only have cttp/blitz courses. Pebble Beach for example, was available before but not right now.

So, there is nothing to unlock as I have said:)

I think we should start a petition to activate Pebble Beach. What is the reason it is not activated?

I have sneaking suspicion that we're gonna get a huge, wonderful surprise one of these days, later this year or next spring and that will be a full blown Pebble Beach situation, stroke play and all. Call me whacky but it sorta adds up. Or to quote John Lennon - "They say I'm a dreamer but I'm not the only one."
