    Fredddddy:

It should be all feel no help with meters and rulers or calculations just feel the shot and use ur head.

Feel, schmeel!  What does it truly matter how someone arrives a shot?

Its to-may-to, to-mah-to in my book.  All methods factor in wind, elevation, distance, lie, what ball you're using, green speed. back/top spin, etc.

So what if one person goes 145+2-1-3=143 into a calculator and decides its a 7I full back spin halfway to the first mark on my WGT caddy.  And the other guy says, hmmmm wind off sets the elevation, allowing for roll out it feels like a 7I with a little off of it say half way to the first avatar move.

I also don't see any difference between having "legitimate" avatar moves and tape on the screen or the WGT Caddy.

There's 20 avatar moves on a full swing, how is that different than having tape or the Caddy with 20 marks?  Again its to-may-to, to-mah-to, its still the same thing in your garden.

Anyone who says there should be no WGT Caddy or tape on the screen should also be screaming for WGT to remove the avatar moves with the power meter!  The backswing would start after the click.  But I've never heard THAT mentioned.

Do what you like, I'll do what I like, as long as we're not running a cheat, let's have fun doing it.

Hit it on the nail andy, good on ya.

I'd say 70% of the legends out there are probably using some form of tape/caddy/macro/otherform of high opacity floating jpeg... But where in the Terms does it say you CANT do that? It simply states any tampering with the application itself is prohibited.. So go on and tape whatever the hell ya want to your screen.. it's perfectly within the rules of the game. If youre interested I can camstudio my screen and show ya my method if anyone wants ;)

Well, it's a question of where you draw the line in pronouncing the name of the vine-ripened garden vegetable (or is it a fruit?) The so-called 'WGT Caddy' is apparently a computer application that alters the appearance of the WGT meter on your screen. Is that a cheat? Seems like it to me, but wiser heads may counsel otherwise. I doubt WGT itself wants to make any pronouncement on the matter.

    Icon, are you listening?

That said, I see nothing against taping stuff to your computer screen if you don't mind the mess or running the figures through a calculator if you don't mind the tedium.

That's my feel on this issue.

Ok.. it technically just adds an image that has a very low opacity OVER the browser application. Youre really just looking THROUGH an image.. at the game.. Therefore it in no way alters the WGT application, your browser, or the flash client in anyway shape or form.

So... NO.. its not a cheat. It's a souped up version of taping a ruler to your screen.... Geek Style.

70% of legends use some kind of helper? You have been here just over a month, you base this opinion on what? Good god leave for a couple weeks and some things never change. JB

Basically all that says is as long as what youre using does not alter the game itself in any way, and you are not trying to profit from the method, then use all the taped on rulers and image overlays you want.

    Amen

A live session with the best? (thread I saw on the forum)

Im new, one account, no cheating what so ever. Turned pro,64average; shot a -12 in the March Unlimited Play, result....up a tier and a sickening 62.00 average which has caught the eye of some of the players I played AS games with. (not to mention their oh so extended vocabulary,..)  Can't blame them, I' ve played only 40 ranked rounds or so. Hey, I practice, what can you say...Lets camstudio lol, give me 5 minutes, Ill hit the  stupid " ding " with the i15s and regular balls every single time.
