Yep, and whatever you heroes do, don't buy the Versa l70 putter. It's pure pot metal junk, I'm tellin' ya.

Maybe you should take your own advice and buy better balls.

+1 Alanti.  I looked at his stats and he aparently thought those clubs were the Irons equivalent of the Max CC putter and they would hit the ball where you aim, regardless of wind and elevation, distance, etc..

LOL, another recruit for the tinfoil hat brigade.

    Dear OP,

Everyone so far has had different results.

Only last week I was speaking with a guy who was a self-confessed drunk, smack addict, fornicator, self pleasurer to the extent of punctuality out the window, poor golfer and general bum.

This week he has found god, a member not so bruised or battered, has a wrist that can write,  plays golf well, teachers at ex-offenders and drugs seminars and his life generally back on track.

Give them another go.  This could be you or your choice of the mix, and lots of beer.....

I'll have you know Mr G that my golf handicap was quite reasonable.......

I bought driver, wood and irons...at level 81 a week ago...sincerly im not so happy. I thought better.. dont know if wgt changed some parameters inside for marketing reasons (buy balls)..Im not a good players like many of yours but i tested in some shots (wgt standard balls)....wind conditions 2-4 (left to right)...ding exactly...stright path and the ball goes in the brush all left (many yards away. (this is only one of the example)...Dont know... but i recently saw many miscalculations.

    Keep testing

For the O.P.  I bought the level 92 Vapor Fly Pro Iron set when they dropped from L97. I had played the R11's for a few years. I expected to go right out and shoot 58's all day long, and so I equipped my bag the day the Andyson Match Play bracket started and got my ass handed to me.  I will say that I didn't like them one bit for the first week or so. Distances seemed off, etc and the wind seemed to have a much greater effect as well.  Then I realised that they are high trajectory vs. the med-high of my old R11's. Unfortunately, I had sold my R11's back to WGT....partially to force myself to learn the new ones. What I found is that if I wanted to take about 10 yards off a club, I used to scale back approximately 1/4" on the meter (obviously depending on the club, and just an example). That always seemed to have the desired -10 yards from max distance effect I was looking for. When doing this with the Nikes, I would lose 15 yards, or more and immediately said to myself...man, these things are pure ***...felt that way for several days. Now I've come to understand that the clubs are what they are and it's me that needed to adjust. Now, if I have a 15-18 mph headwind, I remember that  the R11 195 yard iron might have traveled 187...and the Nike 195 yard iron might only travel 183. Takes a while to get used to.

Perhaps you just need to play a few practice rounds under different wind conditions to figure out the differences between the Nikes and whatever you had before. It helped me.
