Would you please color the triangles that show elevation on the greens? A blue triangle to show uphill putts and a red triangle for downhill putts would be a good visual indication of the elevation change.

Yes I know that one needs to double check the direction in which the white triangle is pointing to be sure if you are putting uphill or downhill, and I normally do this out of habit. However, the one time that I forget is the time that it costs me a match play game. It should be a simple code change to impliment this visual reminder.

Thank you kindly in advance for your consideration of my humble request.

    Do you play on mobile?

The color of the moving green shape dots already do that when playing on a PC.

I don't understand why that would be needed. On the mobile (if that's what you're playing) the information is already right there for you in the box right at your aim point.

It tells you the distance of the putt (in feet) and + elevation change in inches (or feet if if it's a drastic elevation change). That seems pretty difficult to miss.

Playing on a PC. The only indication of elevation is the number in the black box above the blue aiming triangle. The only way to know if the elevation change is up or down is the direction of the green triangle in the black box.

I am asking for the triangle to be blue if the putt is uphill and red if the putt is downhill. Granted that if the color of the putting grid before the hole is blue and the color after the hole is red, this is a good indication that the putt is downhill. However, I'm used to looking at the information in the black box to determine elevation change. It would be a good visual indicator if the triangle were colored to show the direction of elevation change. There is not a whole lot of difference between Δ and del  and it's easy (for me) to mistake the two at times.

OK. Then I really don't understand. I mean the color of the putting grid is not just a "good indiction." It actually shows that there's an elevation change. And that's much easier to see than the triangle (IMO).

I guess I just don't see a problem with the amount of information that's being provided.

Absolutely correct, just to simplify though:

To the OP, in your image the grid around the hole is red, indicating the putt is downhill.  Have a look at the grid behind your avatar, it's blue.  Putting to there would be uphill.

    Great clarification. Thanks!

Maybe David Leadbetter could walk onto the green and then signal with a thumbs up or down?

.....might be clearer if when David is  presenting his thumb, it was blue for uphill elevation and red when down? And maybe David could frown or smile when selecting your power?

Look at the color of the entire putting grid and the aim line of you putt. If the grid and aim line are red it is downhill and if the putt is something like well above the hole on a hole like # 15 at BPB you will see that the grid is orange and the aim line starts out red then turns orange meaning that the putt is severely downhill.

With up hill putts the grid and putting line are sort of royal blue and if it is severely uphill the grid starts out royal blue and changes to light blue. As does the putting line.

Flat putts the grid and aim line are black.
