Not sure about multi accnts but this looks a bit suspect.

3 rounds in the low 40's then Bang, the next day   the rest is in the low 50's.  Looks like a classic case for a cheat program.

Those scores are  for 9 holes mantis, he's sandbagging in stroke play and cleaning up in matchplay credit games, he also has gifted lots of balls.

Whatever he's doing, it's not legit.

Hi alanti, i've just returned after 4 years. I left as master 64 av. I've broken par about once since i returned. I 've gone back to amateur level clubs and still not much better. My friend pigusys just joined as a complete novice and she beat me on kiawah. Coming back after a long break is a nightmare. Don't know what this blokes game is but I wish I knew

Oh and I have to add, he has gifted more balls than he has purchased.....that raises alarm bells.

If he has "returned" to the game after such a long absence. he would need all new clubs, learn them and learn the changes in the game....pretty fast learner, especially as he beats a very high percentage in MP/MPC.....but a look at the lower tier leaderboards these days.....folk seem to pick this game up so much faster - like in hours compared to months!

Actually the activity shows from Sept. 22 to date . In that time they have made 10 ball purchases and only 4 of those were gifted . As for buying clubs they made 2 purchases 1 L15+ iron set and a L40+ driver and both of those were gifted . The excuse they gave was just that because if you look at their clubs they werent in the pro shop 4 years ago nor were they recently purchased .

Maybe WGT let them start a new account but if they are racking up in credit play matches they will be tiered up eventually . Although they play alot thats not a crime and he plays some players multiple times . So they must feel that he`s legit to keep playing him over and over .So if they arent complaining why should anyone else .

Its not that its just that I dont care . My last reply was to other points that were being made and nothing else . I havent said anything wrong and in all honesty the whole incident is being blown way out of proportion . Evrybody wants to go digging into another players profile simply because you got your butt kicked in a game of M/P . How much did you get taken for ?  If the answer to that is nothing why make such a fuss about it ?

If they had been passing themselves as a Tour Pro or Master thats one thing  but a L93 Legend and every body is acting like he just robbed a bank or something . But like I said in my last reply , he has played others multiple times with no complaints or call outs and plays you once and now the world is coming to an end .

If he doesnt want to tier up any higher whats wrong with that ? Last time I checked no where in the T/Cs does it state that players have to play to please others . So let it go its no big deal no matter what you or others think about it you can bet he wont care one way or the other .

I only looked at the first few pages - I went through and now see 7 purchases - regardless, it is a pretty high percentage of gifting. Also he may buy several sleeves at a time which would probably account for his frequency of play and ball usage.

Maybe he is just generous, but it is a warning of possible multi-accounting.

Any smart multi would purchase or be "gifted" (clubs) then let the history fade away whilst using other accounts. Of course we cannot see this but WGT would have a history.

I am not saying he is a multi, but if I was a mod, It warrants some checking.

The issue is he is an obvious sandbagger - 100%. Regardless of whether he plays for credits or not, it is against the spirit of golf, whether real or not. Cheating in other words.

I agree 100% that these rounds are sandbagging, the first round on the history is probably a more accurate indicator of their ability.  Unfortunately, while it may be against the rules here, I don't know of a single case of anyone doing it being punished.  I've even seen threads from 'baggers complaining that someone that finished ahead of them is probably a multi.

As for the gifting, generally there wont be clarity on this until wgt add who the gift was sent to in the history.  The gifting of the same balls the player uses doesn't necessarily mean anything ;-) I could have a good guess where the clubs went but then this wouldn't be posted.
