With that kind of spin it reminds me of playing links 2001 with greens set to soft/fast

Guys, guys, honestly, you have barely used these clubs, and have given up on them already. Before you judge them, do them justice by toying with them, and giving them a fair and measured assessment. I personally have learned to love them, and will undoubtedly get better with them over time. For one thing, a full back spin will roll back by a few feet, if not a few yards, if you dare use it on an ascending slope. Use the back spin only by a fraction then, and you will shave about two feet + increase the stopping power of your shot. Out of sand, the flop shot seems to work, but I am still learning the distances with or without back spin.

All in all, this a great product, and I do not regret in the least having bought it.

    I love them.

I can stop them on a dime If I need them to.

Get 1 - 2 yards back spin up to just about any amount of spin depending on my distance & shot & control the amount of spin I get

The Cleveland wedges have given me wide range of options with my approach to the hole & seeing very nice results after day 1 of testing & expect more improvement over the next day of so with them.

I bought the 100/80 yard wedges to replace my satin 98/77 wedges. There's an interesting learning curve with the back spin and the punch shot stops dead without back spin.

Great product..well worth the cost....hopefully  60/ 50 yard version will come out.

Its quite possible that players could now go back to using the much cheaper  SD range of balls.....because of the extra spin.

Without a doubt. I use the Tour-SD ball and these wedges go great with them, just lay off the spin until you get used to them. Also, be very aware that the higher loft of these gives the wind more time to push them around and it does.

My approach at st andrews 1 spun back 6 yards with only a fraction of back spin, don't know wha full b/spin will do, if i ever dare use it (best save it for 30 mph tailwind only, lol)

So let me see if i got this right. You pay almost 900 for a club that with your old wedge would have left you about 2 ft from the hole to a club that landed 2 ft from the hole and back up so much you lost a 1 dollar ball in the water maybe 15 ft backwards on a flat green?

Yup, that pretty much sums it up.

    I'm a genius, ain't I ?

But soft! There's powerful magic in them clubs! Fear and respect!

Now it must be seen how the total backspin can be used on pitch and flop shots and the like. A game-changer?
